Ok, so I just started having this problem this week but everytime I load a video the screen is black and the time bar at the bottom right is --:--/--:-- and just stays like that. It takes around 5 minutes finally play the video from that state but it is all choppy and keeps freezing. Last week I was watching video at 720p no problem and I checked my connection so I dont think its on my end. Please help its very irratating especially because i'm paying for a service that isnt working.

It's not just you Koarath. Same thing happens to me. Here we are paying for a service that we can't use. But if you log out and put up with crappy commercials, you can watch. It's not you, it's not me, it's CR screwing over their paying customers! WTF?

WTH? As soon as I post that and try again - although I had just restarted my PC, tried 5 different videos in all resolutions, and nothing - now it starts working again. Well, if the fix is posting a nasty comment in the forums, I can live with that.

I experience the same thing. I read this post and tried relogging Crunchyroll and it worked. I usually stay logged in for a few hours before I experienced videos that didn't load. Maybe this is a quick fix for others too.

It's purely random. Sometimes videos play, sometimes they don't. Honestly, CR has alway been very unreliable, so I'm sort of used to it, but... what alway makes me mad is that there's never a response from CR to say at least something like "we're looking into the issue"...
