kimie_0908 12 cr points Send Message: 20 / F Offline	Permalink Reply Quote Posted 9/30/11 hi! i just want to ask if some of you knows about a japanese movie regarding the treasure hunting. the story goes here... there's a boy, well i don't know if he is a student, who is good in solving problems. i already watched this movie 6 years ago but i forgot the title. i also remember that the shadow of the tree is very important to solve the case. his teacher, but i'm not sure of it, is really a bad guy. he let the boy to solve the mystery about the treasure because he knows the ability of his student and he is interested about the treasure. thank you for the reply

So it's about 4-5 people waking up, not knowing where they are (trapped in a room or cellar of some sort). Then there are some chairs and once in a while music comes on and they have to play a game of Musical Chairs. The one who loses have to walk out the door (and when they do they scream and I'm guessing they die). Now I can't find this ANYWHERE! I don't know if it's low budget or didn't get any attention when it was released but I would like to see it again. Does anyone know what movie I'm talking about? All I know is that it's american.

It was a guy and some friends starting a business, which was sabotaged. Basically everything falls apart and his entire family disappears and he is blamed for the sabotage. When he is captured to be decapitated, at the last minute the executioner tells him to run. He reunites with his daughter, who is a ghost that can only be seen in the light, like candlelight (or something like that), and there is someone after them. They get revenge and in the end he finds out that he really was decapitated then but the executioner freed his soul to complete his unfinished business.

I also have a slight recollection of something about cats running on rooftops, the cats lulls the human children with their lullaby (I could be completely off), All the children falls asleep except for a little girl, or boy. She, or he follows one of the cats and the world of the night unfolds before her, or him. I also have a clear memory of how the stars in the night sky turns out to be dolls hanging in strings and one of them appears dead, to the girl's, or boy's desperation. I may be completely wrong about this so maybe you should disregard it, but I believe the movie may be without dialogue. Thanks in advance!
