While this is one of those series I don't have an intention to watch/read the manga, I am surprised that CrunchyRoll didn't end up simulcasting this 1-2 days or a week after the Japanese debut.

Yes, that is what the "?? - ??" in the first message is for; to indicate more to come. (Look at the announcement message for Squid Girl 2 and you'll see the same thing).

There are still 3 more titles on TV Tokyo, all the stuff from Kadokawa (although likely with the same one week delay as last season), Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi 2, very likely both noitaminA titles, and whatever else CR can muster.

Expect another announcement no later than Monday morning, and probably sooner.

yeah, i got what the ?? in the first post was for...what i was getting at is why is it seemingly taking so long for CR to roll out the info on this seasons releases especially since the new anime season starts Monday. i would have expected to know of more titles by now. which is why i wrote "anything else"

What a stupid thing to say, CR is American so it's focus will always be on getting content for the US first, if they can't get it in the US they won't show it, AoD is UK based so will try to get as much anime as possible to be viewed in the UK, even stuff that CR won't touch because they can't get the US rights. Anime fans in the UK should be wanting AoD to be a success as there is very limited options to legally watch it in the UK since AC and AN pulled out.

Seriously, check out how much anime is available on CR just for US members and compare it to how much is available to UK members, choice is always a good thing, legal choice is a much better thing. CR does have a lot more shows than AoD but AoD is backed up by Kaze (who are owned by Viz Media Europe - bleach, naruto, death note, InuYasha etc..) so have the potential to be huge. Sheesh, for years we've been complaining about the lack of anime in the UK, along comes a company who'll supply it and you want them to go bust >.>

AoD and CR are cheap enough that there isn't really competition, both can co-exist side by side which will increase the amount of anime shown (legally) in the UK, and that is a good thing.

I think more anime in the UK is good, but AoD is a shitty service. They never update their site, it's hard to navigate, they often update their episodes late, they often don't even check if their episodes are uploaded properly. I would support AoD if it was actually a decent company, but it's not. I would rather Crunchyroll got all the shows in the UK.
