I put a bowl on my head and use that as a guideline to cut my bangs

Dont know whats a "proper hair cut" but thanks for the advice

Just ask for a standard male haircut when you get there. I'm sure he'll be glad to know we still have straight males in this world.

Ask your barber to do it and show this picture. Hopefully, they don't laugh at you because you gonna show an anime picture of a haircut you want it.

Nah it can't be as easy as gelling it. You'll have to take that pic with you to the salon and they'll probably give you choppy layers in your hair before styling it. Coz when I wanted hair that flicked out at the ends they had to cut it a certain way.

:ooo do u have a picture for that hair style u did XD?!

I could have helped you with the color. The styling is different though.

Your best shot is using a softer wax, creating tufts, then shaping them into that.
The problem is, it might end up looking "plasticy" since it's not a very natural style, due to the way hair works outside of anime.

ahhh thanks ! i use hair spray after gelling makes it look hard lol! not very natural yeah haha!

Not to be rude, but you sound like my dad the traditional perception of how males should look/behave. I live my own life not how others want me to look. Just my 2 cents, i like being myself ^_^!. Not saying ur wrong or anything since THERE IS NOT definite way on HOW a person should look, just people with different ideals :)) i respect your ideal!

AgentChaos: Why don't you print the picture, and show it to your stylist,
Or you can just grow it, and like wax it -- hairspray it it'll stay up.

Just get loads of hair on top of your head and shape it with gel or hair lacker or something.

If by hair lacker u mean wax or clay, it works mostly only for asians, not being racist, but ppl ned to have their hair pretty damn smooth to use it, otherwise it is wrecked the second you get hit by a small breeze or a friend pokes rustles your hair. and with wax, u have to have it dry, and with clay u have to have it humid (very lightly wet) but apart from those issues, they hold up pretty well (if u got epic smooth hair that is). I use to have quite long hair (L Lawliet's length), I got it cut, cos my mum thinks it looks better short, ofcourse it doesnt. And now ive got a mowhawk thing with a small fringe to the side. So I just use gel when its humid, add hairspray or if its ttly dry, I wet it a bit and use styling foam, then use hairspray. The hold is not that strong but for a short-hair style its good enough, and they keep your hair very shiny n professional looking, as if you've just had it styled.

1- get a good haircut, long spikes and shit, take a photo to the stylist if you need. go to a good hairstylist that's the most important thing, now if you have a good haircut with long spikes GOOD we go to the next step:

2- buy GATSBY Moving Rubber Spiky Edges GEL or any other similar hair product from Gatsby ,here is a fucking pic:

my tomboy friends use this product i swear their hair sticks up for FUCKING HOURS and their hairs are so long i mean long spikes like this pic:

they even jump run and act crazy ,move their hairs like maniacs left and right but their hairs remain UNTOUCHABLE won't move a bit , also buy a good hairspray if you want!
