Anyone seen episode 2 yet? It's really good, this is definitely a contender for anime of the season.

Anyway the show is dark compared to F/SN, loved the caster summon and loli Ilya of course. Too cute.

Watched the first episode today. Great buildup, I'll certainly watch more. Appears to be an even stronger show than the original "Fate/Stay Night" too. Wonder if CR will put up the original series.

I have to rewatch episode 1 because i missed a lot of details watching it once.So many names and characters.

Episode 2 moves on with the story and introduced the final summoned warrior or servant plus the plot starts to thicken. The story seem to move fast .

Animation is excellent.

I think I like this compared to Fate Stay Night.The plot of this prequel is strongrer and more interesting.Although there are 2 voice actors seiyuu thats sounded too similar , it drove me nuts listening to them in the same dialogue.

The show is so fantastic, animation, story, voice acting, everything is great!

I was a little bummed that the second episode wasn't as long as the first. I was so pumped to have another 40 minute episode only to get let down later...

I'm excited to see where this goes.

i have not seen 4 yet but its the fight between Lancer and Saber.I somewhat remember the fight they have in the Fate Stay night ,.

anyway I was wondering why Tokiomi let her other daughter adapted by the other family ,was it an old contract or loss of ?

does anybody else think that alexander the great (rider) is a complete idiot? I mean he just announced his name, and butt in a middle of a fight.

Lol it was funny seeing the WTF looks when iskander interrupted the fight and gave away his identity. He may be an idiot, but man do I freakin' love him.

So far the anime is definitely living up to my expectations... unlike fate stay night.

Magi custom, since its a disaster to have two children on a certain family and might cause trouble in inheritance and succession. And since Tokiomi is such an ass, he purposely send Sakura on the Mato to ensure the bloodline would still continue IF somehow Rin became a failure to the Toshaka, then there would be still Sakura to her last saving grace.

yeah he's awesome isn't he? Everyone else were too busy chickening around with it but he's manly enough to simply not care. Also I don't think he is an idiot, he just like to do battle honourably and doesn't really care. I mean he even gave away his noble phantasm just because he can, seeing there was no real need to for him arrive on his chariot.

But yeah Iskander is bro-tier. :happy:

Also Fate/Zero is INFINITELY better than Stay Night because is wasn't animated by lolDeen. If you look around for other Ufotable works most of them were highly regarded as being masterpieces in animation. I was initially worried about the plot but I guess that was unneeded. Also the cast of this show are not angst teenagers but actual adults capable of logical thinking beyond "lol justice and protect my friends".
