My mistake, it seem CR is doing their one week delayed "simulcast" again. Honestly I don't see the point of having to delay your showing for a week to PAYING members when a competitor site offers it for free to everyone an hour of initial TV broadcast, but hey I don't run this site. I don't understand how are you guys not getting the 720p video. Just to make sure you registered on their site didn't you?
Also the 720p video quality on NicoNico is not that bad, yes I know the whole video is like 100MB for a 720p episdoe which translates to artefacts artefacts artefacts, though honestly I can't say CR encoding quality is that much better. Between this and the week delay I'd take the NicoNico stream any day. If you really care about quality that much you best off download the...ermmm I mean buy the BD's when they are released.

Crunchyroll doesn't choose to delay it, Kadokawa does. Kadokawa partially owns (or has invested in? not sure) NicoNico, so NicoNico gets preferential treatment for Kadokawa shows, such as Fate/Zero.

I'm guessing you missed the part where I stated, "..., and even after logging in there,...". If you've never encountered niconico.jp's economy mode, then consider yourself lucky.
Considering CR's only choice other than agreeing to the one week delay would have been to say, "Sorry, if we can't have it at the same time, we don't want it at all", I am glad they made the decision they did.

Ah I'm not sure why I thought it was Kadokawa then. I must have confused it with another series. I guess it's probably just a case of NicoNico paying more then, or they have ties with Aniplex. No way to really know for sure. Still annoying having to wait an extra week though, but I would rather do that than watch it on NicoNico.. Although I'm not sure if it's even available in the UK though NicoNico anyway.

Aniplex appears to have a relationship with both Nico Nico and CR, so knowing who is going to simulcast their anime is a bit of a coin flip.
The niconico.jp stream of Fate/Zero is worldwide outside of Japan. As llamaben noted in an earlier message, the stream for Fate/Zero I pointed to on the niconico.jp Spring 2012 list that starts on April 15 is the stream for inside Japan.

All dat EKUSU - KALIBAHHHHHHHH!
The second season is definitely pacing well, and it will get better from here on. Remember this is a Urubuchi Gen script meaning sad end is inevitable. You would know what happens if you've read the LN anyways. If you haven't, just look forward to the plot twists and action from here on, it'll get even better.

Here's a nice little read for interest. This is a translated transcript of the F/0 drama CD's which came with the first season BD boxset. They mostly talk about how Kiritsugu and Iri met. Its interesting and provides extra background to the anime as well as being quite sad...Anyway these aren't copyrighted material but I can't post the CD recording themselves, you can find them with your own methods if you are competent.

Shhh... No tears now, only dreams.
This was an emotional episode. My eyes were watery. I don't necessarily have a favorite team in Fate/Zero but each character's ideology and reasons for winning are pretty strong so I root for them. It's just a matter of who I sympathize with more but Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide the fall of Lancer really pained me.
I guess this is where the show begins to depress me but I can't help but keep watching.
The dialogue this episode was brilliant. Saber has really good points about Kiritsugu but I think I honestly agree with Kiritsugu more. I actually watched Watchmen last night and I really enjoy characters like The Comedian and Rorschach. Kiritsugu seems like those characters to me.

You might have a thing for Byronic heroes like me. The thing I love about Urobochi's writing (other than GRIMDARK) is the plot twists he managed to build into the story without making it seemingly forced. I bet none of you saw the Maiya attack coming huh (unless you read spoilers like myself )
Either way I don't think there is supposed to be a hero in F/0. The whole show is about how pretty much every master is a evil manipulating **** except Waver who's a little naive. Incidentally he's the only real winner from the 4th grail war, ironic isn't it? Also loved the curse of Diamurd, dat foreshadowing, dat fade into darkness (rather than light like F/SN), I don't know what emotion I should feel...
Goodbye Team NTR. Goodbye "Waru aru G" :tears:
RIP
Damn this show is good.
