The one thing I hate about this show is that every episode is a cliff-hanger!

I laugh at all those who wrote off the show before seeing more than an episode. It may use tropes that have been 'done before' but it does so in a way that engages me far more than any of it's 'type' have done for three seasons. Dark rabbit fortune arterial and the like were all so blah that I just dropped them through neglect. THIS show has 'something' that says there's more to meets the eye.

I think the first episode HAD to focus on Fear and firmly establish her 'nice' or 'good' side so that we care about her enough to forgive her, and root for her redemption.

anyone surprised a that Konoha was some sort of cutting implement and otherwise similar to Fear wasn't paying attention. In the first episode random items would get mysteriously severed whenever she was upset. Then she counsels Yachi about Fears behaviour suggesting that she had a similar origin. If you were surprised when she turned out to be a sword then you really weren't watching.

Likewise there is the discrete shower scene for the class prez to show us just enough to establish that she wears bondage gear into the shower. Then there's her face when she decides to get involved and make a critical phone call. You just KNOW she is more than she appears too.

Whatever, magic other shows of this type lacked that made them yawners. This show has got it. I'm really enjoying it.

I am afraid to start the 3rd episode... I didnt like the first episode and I was wtf when his friend whipped out the sword in the second... I don't think to highly of this show, furthermore the textures and graphical overlays on the anime is really irritating...

PS I had assumed that the cutting and breaking of stuff in the first episode was to serve as humor, the show isn't executed very well imo.

Interesting how that bit at the end of episode 5 turned out not to be completely misleading.

The big-chested girls are the only reason I am still watching this show.

This show could have ended at episode 3 and I would be satisfied.

I think blushing in anime has now become more of a visual cue (like a sweat drop) than a literal element, given that I've even seen robots blush (and I don't mean androids).

conversely apparantly even in cube form fear can feel what people do with her 'body'.

the story arc for 6, 7, 8 looks to be interesting. I wonder if this 'cursed item' gets redeemed successfully?

Just finished #8 and that story arc was really really really good! I think its the best arc of the whole currently avalable episodes.
