Should anime have less talking hence "animation" not radio show.

Some adequate animes like Sket Dance seem to be a great show. The characters make weird faces but characters in other anime also talk a lot. I feel like they are trying to cram lots of information within a 21 min show. Like how people saying in writing, "Show, don't tell"

Yes. To me that's where Bleach has failed miserably. All they do is talk about nothing and nothing gets done. Naruto too, but when people on Naruto talk it's usually important but sometimes it sh*t you already know. I think REBORN had it the worst. The talking annoyed the hell out of me. There are others but those come to mind first.

I think most anime are fine the way they are but I admit there are times when I'm thinking this...

well, it depends on what kind of animes you are looking for

MAINSTREAM BATTLES

yes, definitely. but then again I wouldn't even watch it anyways.

ANIMES SUCH AS HARUHI SUZUMIYA

no, occasional battle scenes are good,, and other animations. but talking may be the main point of this series

It depends on the anime's genre, the veiwer's preferences, and of course, the viewer's attention span.

Yes and no. Some shows do it well, and others...Not so well. I don't want to see some random character scream "HYOURINMARU" or "CHERRY-BLOSSOM PRETTY BOY BLAST" over and over again. Nor do I like it when they go "Oh my god! His energy level IS SO HIGH! How is that possible?", or (Evil guy): "HA! You'll NEVER defeat my ULTIMATE ATTACK! It shoots fifty bullets at once to the left of me! But my RIGHT SIDE is completely exposed! How drastic! Mwuahaha"...

Shows like Code Geass do the talking -very- well.

Your implying teens have good attention spans? I like shows from different generes so eh, i prefer something with a story, decent action and good love story/ drama. This is just me however, talking dosent bother me a bit. Its better to have characters with depth rather than some durr hurr i am evil so die prick

Dunno, attention spans vary among people. Just saying some people watch anime for action and don't like paying attention to dialogue, stories, or character backgrounds.

not a big surprise really... then again anime/animation is a medium with in film. There are genres of all types not just one, and if you only want to rely on one you will be disappointed/sad in a few years.

Personally I like the different interactions between characters. Clashing or sometimes not clashing personalities against one another. Talking is important, it moves things along. I think if people want action and nothing else than they should switch to western cartoons. The roadrunner and coyote have plenty of action and almost no vocals.

Indeed, it's best to explore different genres and demographics till you see what you like. I mean I started out with magical girl and romantic shoujo anime till I learnt I prefer the male demographics most. However there are probably people who stick to the "mainstream" stuff because they're happy enough there, but they'd most likely get tired of it faster.

It depends on the person. Some people like random, nothing spectacular animes in which nothing really happens and some people like animes where something new is happening every second. Some like calm animes, some intence, really it all depends on whos watching.
For me, how much they talk and such and if it annoys me just depends on the day.
