I watched the first 2 episodes so far on theanimenewtork still don't know what to make of it, everyone seems to have a smug look on their face to me, there's a weird guy dancing around while carrying a extra large plate of curry and rice, there's a mech a ninja who's hat seems to be his eyes, a giant in an iron mask, what looks to be an incubus, a witch/angel/fallen-angel team, a quite girl who from what I can tell is something like a robot slave, a guy way to into groping boobs and eroge and somehow magic, gods, and science just seem to mixed together.

Watched the first two episodes earlier (TAN), was fine but that's about it. Seems to be trying way too hard to be out there. Not really sure every possible kind of weirdo that can be thought up needed to be a character but it is what it is. Wasn't really that hard to follow if you care enough to pay attention. Can't say I was having the easiest time actually caring, though.

Episode 4: Still not completely sure what's going on, but that robot maid vs. mecha fight scene was awesome. I'mma stick to it.
Episode 1 and 2 were a bit dull, but episode 3 and 4 give some promise on a good plot and action. |

I have now officially watched 4 episodes of this show, and it makes no freaking sense what so ever. The show seems to have this long complicated plot that they never seem to want to explain. They've got ten million things going on here with no justification as to why these things are happening in the first place. The characters are rubbish because they refuse to take the time to explain any of them, they have a deep complicated plot that is never explained or justified, they expect their audience to apparently know everything about the show before they even see the first episode, and the attraction to the show is nil because there's no explanation to draw in an audience in the first place.
Overall this show is a mixed hodge podge of crap that makes no sense at all and refuses to even explain itself. Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere: 0/5. |

The breasts are far too large. I don't really mind it, some of the characters are actually kind of enjoyable, but the rest is utter trash. A 4/10 from me for now, it may change in the future although.

Just as a clarification: Episodes 1-4 all take place in the same day. As does the recent episode, five.
My theory with episodes 2-4's format, I believe they're showing some of the main heroines's perspective of the day and as further characterization of them. Though, they didn't give too much. The show is still hard to understand but from watching the raw of episode 5, I think I understand what it's trying to do. It's probably setting up for the second season (second cour). The general premise from what I've heard and supposed spoilers is: Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide The protagonist, Toori, has his love interest (P-01s) separated from him. He decides to become king of the world so he can get her back. Episode 5 was pretty good in terms of action and it did make me feel like I understood the show more (read spoilers above) with the ending. Time to wait two days for subs to fully comprehend the "plot". Characters are still delicious. |

It is a much better Prism Ark well not much but better
Why? well prism ark was old medieval setting with magic, and horizon is futuristic setting with semi gadget magic prism ark started out ep 1 with a good concept, war and ep 2 went to the beginning and started the story, this type of arrangement is very appealing; however the rest of the 10 episodes was utter bs with more bs horizon started with a good introduction of what the anime is ie futuristic with semi gadget magic and made a good impact, then ep 2 3 was like lol wtf? and ep 4 was so there is that one girl, and finally currently getting to the story but with fluff bs. So depending on the execution of the last 6-7 episodes of the anime we'll see if the ratings go up or down, because character development is over. btw the protagonist really is annoying, primary reason why the anime is getting bad bad ratings. my thoughts about it and is true. |
