Thank you all for your continued use of JManga!

And thank you also for sending us your enthusiastic feedback. We have been taking all of your thoughts in to account.

JManga will be holding a special price campaign starting October 4th!
Save up to 60% on the price of 1 volume of manga.
Hungry for more manga!? Now’s your chance?

- Sales Example

- Already bought lots of manga before the campaign prices started? Don’t worry! We’ve got you covered!

We will give you back 50% of the points you used before the campaign started!
*Any points you spend after the campaign has started will not be returned.

Points used prior to the campaign x 50% = The points you get back this time.
For example; If you bought 3 manga at 899P per volume,
2697P x 50% = 1348.5 => 1348P (fractions are rounded down)
you’ll get 1348P back!

Sale will be ending 10/31/2011.

Because that's how buisness works? There's nothing odd about that detail.

I'll have another look around. As stated before, I want to support Jmanga. But I don't know if I'm okay with hearing this is temporary, when high price is the reason Jmanga has gained little momentum.

Yeah, still no. Even if this were the permanent price it would still be a no. Switch to a similar pricing model as netcomics or allow us to download and view offline, then we will talk. Otherwise it's pointless.

After paying for 2 months and only bought one volume so far, here's what I want to see from JManga:

-Create a premium all-you-can-read membership, much like CR's premium membership for anime.
-Give us an Android app for both tablets and phones.
-Widen your selection of manga.
-Stop using Flash and switch to HTML5.
-Allow people to download manga that they bought to view offline.
-Previews should be in every manga and should be longer.

i'm still waiting for an iphone app and "simulcasting". i tend not to get into manga that has an anime out for it. i'd rather have a "fresh" manga that hasn't had a chance to turn into an anime yet.

I agree with every point except the downloadable part. I won't ever join until there is at least an all access membership.

Thanks, but no thanks.

You're business model for Jmanga is horrible. You try to attract CR users to it? CR is $60 a year for an Anime membership. You want people to pay $20 for a few volumes of manga. This means you can only get three batches of a few volumes before you spent $60 and want to add even more. It's a good way to get a lot of money, but it is not going to flourish like CR did. No way.

I stated this many times in the beta but you apparently either don't care or don't want to hear it. You won't get Jmanga to succeed unless you copy CR business style. Manga is cheaper to create than Anime yet you charge more? Are you kidding me? AND you charge by the volume REALLY? Really Shinji?

Is this the big announcement JManga has been hyping on facebook? Huge disappointment. Offer a subscription model like Crunchyroll then we'll start talking, until then no thanks.

I would like to buy some manga since I have points at JManga but at this point in time the sale is useless to me. They announced some titles well over a month ago that interested me but they're still unavailable for purchase. Makes no sense to me that they even have a 'New Arrivals' section on their home page considering most of the links you click aren't even available for purchase.

This. Especially the downloadable part. I often take my computer places where there is no internet.
