Judge the recent ones I've made? the text is always either outlined or blurred a little. it now annoys me with the text. Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide The first avatar it's TOO much outlined. I don't disapprove of using that style, but when you do so, use only one outline and focus a bit more on the rest of the background and text. The second one it's just too simple and the text doesn't fit. Also the blending it's not so good. The rest are a bit better, at least from the point of view that you don't "mess up" the background. But the text are really not suitable. Use smaller size, different colors that fit the whole avatar/banner and not every time the outline works out. You should try out other effects too.As I've said before, the backgrounds are not bad, but pay more attention to blending and text and try to use a larger variety of effects and resources. Otay, thanks. Can you judge this banner? I tested out of effects on the text. Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide The text is better now, but I see you using the stroke ( outline ) again. Try to not use it and be more attentive of the background. For this banner you could have used a pattern on the background or a "collage" texture ( the ones that have flowers, writing and objects on them ). The cute ones! lol |

MY dear Sensei *bows* It's not bad, but the edges are to rough. It was a good idea using abstract elements ( c4d's ), but when you use them, try to adapt them to your image: erase the parts that don't fit or apply some effects from filter. The text is good cause it's small and you've used a classic font, but you should have made it of another color ... maybe red/orange like the c4d. Keep up the good work! ~Thank you neh~ Caroline-sensei :> I will do my best more more ^-^ |

Click to show or hide Don't get upset with me since you said that I can criticize you. lol I think the only good thing about your graphics is the blending. The profile is cute, but for background it would have worked something more cute ( and maybe floral ). The fonts used for text don't fit neither the image nor the background. For the avatars I would have used a dark background and some abstract elements ... if you don't know to use very well the options from Filter, then use c4d's. Also the text would have looked better with a small and simple font. bixi posted some tutorials above; it doesn't hurt if you check them out and practice some. XD Good luck! Caroline-san, i won't lol so des ka? my blending improves, huh? xD your opinions are using floral brush? i think i have to work hard with fonts. alrighty. i supposed fonts is my failing when editing gfx xP do you mean this tutorial: abstractiish... http://browse.deviantart.com/?qh=§ion=&q=graphic+tutorial#/d2ope9j http://browse.deviantart.com/?q=graphic%20tutorial&order=9&offset=24#/d2lcwor here's some harder one's..the first one's using a real life pic http://browse.deviantart.com/?qh=§ion=&global=1&q=c4d+graphic+tutorial#/d389p1x this is for colouring blk and white pics in a different way http://browse.deviantart.com/?qh=§ion=&q=graphic+tutorial#/d33a4hy thanks for your advice :D Yes, I was talking about that tutorials and other that you can find on DA and other sites. They help you to come with new ideas for background and for text ( some ). And I didn't say to you always must use floral brushes/textures ... I was strictly saying of that avatar. okay. i'll search for tutorial thanks for the advice ;DD |

Click to show or hide okay so i suggest to use an actual program like photoshop or gimp because online editors ... maybe they seem easier to use but they don't offer you as many things like ps or gimp. there are so many tutorials these days.. anyway regarding your avatars.. i don't know exactly when you started editing but is clear that you are at the beginning. like i said you should try using some editing program, read some tutorials and practice |

Click to show or hide I don't know what kind of image did you use for this avatar, but the final result/aspect doesn't look too good. The colors are too hard and the text doesn't stand out. You could have used a frame and maybe some floral textures for the background. In general you have problems with the background and text ... try to work more on those aspects! |

I'll try to work on that more, and I guess I should have used a darker PSD. for this one? Anyway, thanks for the advice! ♥ |
