Earlier today we announced the addition of the high-anticipated prequel to Fate/Stay Night: FATE/ZERO and now we're geared up to announce the addition of WAGNARIA!! SEASON 2 on our fall simulcast lineup!



For WAGNARIA!! SEASON 2, starting on Saturday October 8 at 9 am PST, those users living in the US, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand will be able to watch the second season as it unfolds.

“The family restaurant WAGNARIA stands by itself in Hokkaido. One day Sota Takanashi, who loves all things small, meets tiny little Popura, who offers him a job working part time at the restaurant. Attracted to her petite stature, Sota accepts her offer. To his surprise, the restaurant is filled with eccentric characters. Get ready to dish up some wacky comedy together with Sota and his coworkers!”



For Fate/Zero, users will be able to chronicle the events prior to Fate/Stay Night with this series every Saturday at 9am PST, starting October 8. It will be available in the following territories: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand.

“Ten years prior to the events of FATE/STAY NIGHT, the War of the Holy Grail is a contest in which seven magi summon seven Heroic Spirits to compete to obtain the power of the “Holy Grail,” which grants a miracle. After three inconclusive wars for the elusive Holy Grail, the Fourth War commences.

Kiritsugu finds himself deeply torn between family and duty – obtaining the Holy Grail. However, his greatest opponent appears in the form of Kirei Kotomine, a priest who cannot find any sense of fulfillment in his life and sets his sights on Kiritsugu as the possible answer to the emptiness he feels.”

After viewing the first episode at Nico Nico Douga, I was less than impressed with their video quality, due more to the low bitrate used than the 360p resolution. Now I'll be able to watch it in good quality in exchange for waiting.

This is not a simulcast. I've already seen the first episode which ran on Monday.
Oh wait, what do I care... it's not for the Netherlands anyway.

People keep on mentioning this series being streamed on this Nico Nico site, so I assume that when this series becomes available it will be for both free and premium members at the same time (like Idol Master and others) just that premium members get the higher quality.
