More clothing and the ability to import 3D models.

Also, I would like more control over color sliders. The ability to customize hair, eyes and even skintone further, as well as clothing.

More control over poses would be nice too.

I agree with what KrimsonGray said above, and in additional, being able to shape the panels into Triangle or Parallelogram shapes for example will make the layout more cooler. I think that being able to cast shadows from any direction on characters and objects will make pictures more realistic as a comic.

I think more clothing is important right now. Of course adding 3D objects would be great, but with only school clothes things are limited. Right now I'm making a manga called "Mio's Story' and there are several pages I have to skip simply because I can't change the clothing of my characters.

New clothes and importing 3d models are definitely something we should get first. After all, with a limited choice of 3d objects and only school clothes to use, we can't completely be as original as we could be using ComiPo! right now. Besides that, we should get more facial expressions and face types.

In order of importance IMO:
1. New clothes. We want the Japanese DLC ASAP, and I would hope that you can give us a discount compare to what they paid since we're getting it long after it's Japanese release.
2. Importing 3D models.
3. More poses. Lots more. Especially poses for action scenes. It would be even better if you could allow us to pose the models ourselves.
4. Able to make child characters (middle or elementary school age).
5. Change skin tone.
6. More hair styles, hair colors and eye colors.

That's just general stuff, here's some specific stuff I want:
- Wheelchair 3D object.
- School P.E. outfits
- Drill-Hair
- Fangs (single-tooth fangs, as well as double-tooth fangs)
- Fancy dresses and suits
- More casual outfits overall
- Video game controllers and systems (Consoles and handhelds)
- Board game sets (Checkers, Chess, Mahjong, Shogi, Go, Cards, etc)
- More animals, Dogs and Birds especially.

Oh, and one more thing. You guys need to get some actual English-speakers to edit the text in the program, website and guides. It borders on Engrish at times.

Edit:
Some things I forgot:
- Able to remove the default blush from female characters. Male characters don't have it by default, so females shouldn't either. Quite frankly, I think the blush looks stupid and I want to be able to get rid of it.
- Anything to get the program out of the school setting. Whether it be fantasy outfits like armor and wizard robes + swords and staves, or sci fi space suits and robots, whatever it is, there needs to be alternative setting outfits.
- As stated above, weapons. Swords, staves, guns, bows, spears, etc.
- More filters for exporting. As it stands, we would need to change the filter for every object in the comic before exporting. We need to be able to pick from all the filters upon export.
- More Additional Parts in general. More shoes, glasses (most of them don't even fit the characters properly), more Stray Hairs, more Hats and Masks.

I picked importing 3d feature. however I agree with everyone. more clothes! There's only so much you can do with the whole school kid theme.

I would love it if Comipo became more like the Sims game in that you can select individual parts like noses, eyes, lips, skin tone, hair, body types so i can make children, teenagers, seniors, and adults without scaling them in the panel. I also love how the Sims has a whole community of people who can make clothes, hair styles, body types not found in the game and people can download them and use them. So far Comipo seems to rely strictly on whatever the company decides to add and i feel it sort of takes away a bit of the individuality of Comipo made comics not to mention just waiting on their updates is frustrating! People being able to download and use other people's creations doesn't take away from the sales of the collection packs et al from the Sims.

I would like to build my character from scratch if possible choosing face types et al. Need more hair customizations and add ons

Anyway. Swords, knives, various guns, characters with a more action manga type look, Big guys, muscles, spiky hair, shaved heads but not super bald, guys with long hair and not just one pony tail, high heels, nice dresses and suits, fantasy type outfits, mechs, bandages that characters can wrap around their bodies or wrap around the head for wounds. I want the ability to remove their clothes, wrap them in towels, bath robes et al. I have several bathhouse backgrounds that sadly can't really be used without adding steam effects and make them shadowy to hide the fact that they are wearing clothes. No sad contemplating life shower scenes :(

Also, I would like for my characters to be able to share 3d space. They have poses for hugs yet the characters cannot really hug! sure you can make it look similar to a hug or someone being held but still a full actual hug with arms wrapped around their bodies would be nice. We also need more poses or just be able to do it ourselves but I would settle for more poses.

btw: i agree on the automatic blush thing for girls. i tried to remove it too with no luck. Which is something I don't get, if you can add the blush marks then why make them a default design? Some girls just don't freaking blush all the time.

1) Clothes, clothes, clothes.

2) 3D import, or at the very least more 3D models than we have at the moment -- we need more everyday objects like couches, tables, televisions, and headphones. There are some glaring oversights in the default objects that came with the program -- we have a baseball, a bat, and several batter poses, but there's no catcher's mitt.

3) I suppose bone manipulation would require a major upgrade to the engine, but we should be able to select poses for arms and legs individually.

4) "Face type" should include actual face types instead of different eye types. The male faces in particular all look too girlish.

5) Options for body types -- how can I make a character pettanko when all the girls have the same chest size?

6) The ability to attach characters to each other.

7) A visual guide for identifying the X, Y and Z axes and a way to input numbers instead of mucking about with sliders.

8) 3D environments.

Hmm...well, one thing that I would like to see is the option to have more clothes. Also, although I can change the size of character models, if possible, I'd like a way to adjust a character's height and weight.

Also, maybe poses for when two or more characters are together? Sometimes, if I want two characters to touch, the only I can makes it look really awkward.

Other than that, I have no real problems.

The import 3D feature will expand potential greatly, so I look forward to it. Something else I would consider of high priority is action poses. It's a little difficult to pull off an action manga with the current poses. More punch and slash poses are needed. Really, I think there should be enough of them to fill a whole "combat" category.

Some additional side requests:
-Be able to reshape frames. Angled frames are great.
-Transparent speech bubbles
-A "depth" property for 3D items
-Shinai/bokken/katana items

Import for 3D would be nice. Seeing as that feature sort of makes the program complete, please do that first.

More poses would be great as well. Or some system to create custom poses, or at least import them.
A semi-customizable hairstyle system would also be greatly beneficial: the current colors and style options are pretty limiting; a custom color palette for hair color would be nice, but not as important as another big color issue...

SKIN TONE. It's extremely frustrating that there is no option for darker natural skin colors. My friends are sad that I can't make a true "manga-style" version of them. This, and there are no body-types available beside average?

Could there not be some sort of Sims-like scale one could modulate to create a custom built character? While I understand this would effect pose viability and clothing would have to be custom changed to work with this, it's certainly possible.

Not everyone has the same waist, bust/chest, face, etc sizes. It's what makes real manga's character designs really shine: variety.
I'm not asking for impossible proportions, just clothing/body options that reflect less-than-shoujo perfection of body image.
Particularly in making young vs old characters: scaling them up and adding age lines doesn't accomplish much.

Some minor and easily fixed other issues:
- export: why no option to export as a .pdf? I hear this is available in Japan, and wouldn't be that tough to implement...
- export to .psd: even without the ability to manipulate the 3d models outside of Comipo, it would be amazing if one could alter minor parts (such as background, clothing detail, etc) in PS using the original "layers" of the Comipo format.
- import .gif with transparency: this one seems like a real no-brainer. Why not have the ability to import images without white backgrounds showing up where transparent space should show?

For me to recommend a friend to actually purchase this program (as opposed to stick with the trial, or heaven forbid pirate a cracked copy for themselves), there will need to be SIGNIFICANT improvements. And a lot of them seem like rather simple fixes that should have been ready by the English release, if they were already in the Japanese edition.

That would also be quite nice. Or panel shapes like caption bubbles, so images could be confined to within a thought/speech bubble.

I think it sucks that the English version didn't already come with the updates the Japanese version has. They could have had two releases at different prices, the base and updated with the collection packs and features for more. I would have paid more for the updated one.

But anyway, to add more to the list. i would like more empty Interior spaces. Like Empty houses, more empty classrooms, empty kitchens, bedrooms and so on. Of course more individual furniture. Couches, chairs, et al by room category. Dining furniture, kitchen supplies (pots, pans, food ingredients and cooking items), living room, bedroom school. I would like to design my own places from scratch because the characters look more natural in those settings than the remade complete backgrounds. Especially when trying to make them sit.

More school uniform designs like private school, wealthy school, PE clothes, Kendo club, Archery et al complete with equipment needed to practice. Messed up school clothes, unbuttoned shirt, untucked shirts et al. Something to look like they were in a fight or relaxing after classes. i hate how neat they always look.

Facial markings would be nice, aerial ships, spaceships, et al. Fantasy type clothes (if I didn't mention that before lol!)

I agree on the angled panels, I tried to create one and I'm pretty happy with it, but it would be easier if angled panels were already available.

I hope they hire more artists to provide character designs.

The three main things I want first are more clothing, and color slider for clothing, hair, skin tone, etc. and more body types, especially a "child" body type. How can I show my "childhood friend" flashbacks without that?

Also high on my list would be different shaped panels, and a way to draw free-form panels. The squares and rectangles aren't cutting it for me.

There are some sites out there with free background images, http://comipoforums.com/ lists some in its resources section.
