Wow, people actually come here to watch anime as a first choice? I only watch Anime here as a very last resort.

Really this place isn't even a viable source of Anime at all. Even if you don't include all the fansub groups, there's stuff like HorribleSubs.
Anyway, we've kinda gotten off topic, so let's drop it, mmk?

People have pretty much already said the majority of the stuff ide like to see, so I wont worry about that. One fix I would like to see for the English version is a modification to vertical text boxes so that the text is still straight and scrolls down, rather than being turned on its side.

EDIT: Additional suggestion. Ide like to be able to apply textures to 3D objects.Since the amount of backgrounds available dont always meet my requirements and a suitable replacement cant always be found online, ive found that I build alot of things from scratch with the shapes. When it comes to building furniture and such, ide like to be able to texture it appropriately. For example, i just finished a scene were a character is leaning over a sink, ide like to be able to apply a chrome texture to the drainage pipe.

EDIT2: Also, ide like to be able to minimize the 'asset list', 'layer properties' and 'layer list' bars on the side in order to be able to be able to see more of the page when zoomed in. Ide also like to be able to scroll sideways further than the width of the page, which will help when grabbing the boundaries of large objects.

When is Import 3D going to be added?

For the price, and the fact that the product information said such a feature would be included, it seems like it's about time for an update to include it.

In order of importance, I would say...

1) Clothing. You are going to charge extra for this, so it's kind of a no-brainer, but even if it weren't, there's only so much one can do with what is already there.

2) Malleable poses. I'd like to be able to position the characters freely, so I can do things like talking on the phone while running, sitting on walls, fumbling, and interacting with my environments.

3) Separation of eyes/eyelashes/mouth for expressions. I don't need ComiPo to tell me what's "Happy" and what's "sad", plus I'd like to express "frustrated", "stoic", etc...

4) 3D import.

Im gonna take this one and go a little bit further.I would like to see the bodies of characters divided up into several regions that can be customized independently of each other. These regions would include the individual elements of the face the upper body and the lower body as minimum.

This will allow people to get far more use for far more purposes out of existing assets. Inevitably there will be some aspects which dont go well with each other and cause overlap, but I think we can deal with that.

The latest email I got from my Comipo newsletter (that I was subscribed to after winning the full copy) seems to show a new function...
It looks to me that there are now 3D environments (or at least scenes) you can place characters into and they'll be scaled correctly?

When will the English version get this functionality?

I want to hope we get it soon. But then again, we don't even have the 3D Import function yet. So, it could be quite a while until we get the "scale correctly" function.

I hope we get an ETA on when the 3D Import function will come They said early 2012 so...

I also really hope the Premium Pack given out in the contest (whatever it is) will be put up for sale as well once it's sent to the winners. Some new stuff would be great. Also new hairstyles in general--there's very few ponytail options for example (compared to pigtails), no way to change the scrunchy color, and all the hairstyles are straight. I'd love to see curls and wavy hair. Maybe even ringlets. All in ponytails, pigtails/sidetails, and down.

With 3D importing this is possible now. I'm looking into seeing what process is needed to convert hairstyles from programs like 3D Custom Girl and Miku Miku Dance to something useable in Comipo. There's a blender plugin that allows importing from MMD, but I still have to learn more about blender to be able to export it to an .OBJ file that will work with ComiPo. I've had a little success, but the results aren't pretty so far. I might be better off trying to just make new stuff in Hexagon or some such.

Ya know, I wouldn't mind it if they would allow us to make custom poses and gave more variety in face expressions because right now it's like everything is really........limited and bare.

Also, updates seem very slow when all you're doing is importing functions over from the original JP version of the program but maybe I'm missing something here so I'll leave that subject alone.

It's great that we can import 3d objects to use as props and for the scenes, but I really wish we could make, or at least recolor, our own clothes and people models.

The ability to pose legs and arms freely and independent of having to use poses whould be alot better.
More and better background would also be good, the selection today is very limited.
