What I think about this anime?

I got really confused with all the characters being introduced in the first episode since I have never played this game , Started with a lot of action and fighting, thank goodness I don't remember seeing panty shots galore. Its pretty exciting if you are into this genre. I guess the story really starts at episode 2.
Animation is not to bad...I dont like anime with this kind of intro but since my favorite male seiyuu Kamiya san and Konishi san are in it , I might try to check this one from time to time

Well what do you guys think?

I enjoyed the first episode quite a bit. I thought it was well done. The last five minutes of fighting was well animated and well choreographed. My only quip is on the voice acting. I thought it was fair. Besides a few characters, most of the main cast didn't seem into it.

Beyond my quibble with the lackluster voice acting, I plan to watch the entire series unless I die in my sleep.

It starts off weird since they basically expect you to know the characters already so read the manga a least to understand whats happening.

They skipped around 10 chapters of the manga which introduced the characters so I'll probably skip the anime altogether.

this was pretty much pure fighting.

It's fun but hopefully the next few episodes will add some substance to it

I'm not sure I would call him Wimpy. He's clearly a skilled strategist and I think above average fighter (being the student of the monster woman and all)

and he did have the guts to confess right in the first episode. Most male leads seem to dilly dally until the girl is about to disappear forever

even so, I don't see much in this series after the first episode.

I'll take a look at the next couple of episodes just to see if there is anything else here but so far I'm more interested in Chihayafuru (what can I say it looks neat and fun)

After watching the first two episodes,I found the first episode a compilation of fighting clips and the second episode pretty average. It was still quite interesting though. Personally, nothing seems to have developed in the two episodes, I cant establish who is who and i cant see how this anime is going to go anywhere. I'll probably have to read the manga to understand a bit more.

I do like the anime though, so I'll probably still watch it.

It was interesting but didn't have any story behind it. It was just a competition and that's all.

I really have no clue what this show is about. The entire first episode, all 20 mins of it, is devoted to two classes fighting much like armies did during the warring states period. Apparently this is to resolve some sort of dispute, although we never hear why, and has high school (?) students running around with swords and other “non-lethal” weapons. However I’m sure someone forgot to tell the foley artist that because there are metal on metal sound effects everywhere and some students even get blown up. Occasionally the action will be broken up by small flashbacks between two of the students but what point this severs eluded me. This feels like the last episode of a very dull show. I guess since the first episode didn’t really do anything plot wise the show is free to go where ever it wants with the story but I will not be sticking around to find out for this one.

Verdict: 1 out of 5

i can tell you what it's about, a shot anime based of an adult visual novel that they are hoping will be a successes and will fall on it's ass. This is due to cut in content to force rush out a project that can only appeal to fans that have played the game. However the visual novel is 80% translated with 4 routes done so if people really want the story then go play the vn, also ep 2 was scream BUY THE DVD's

I actualy dont like these types of anime but I have 2 favorite seiyuu in here and I am curious what they will do for their characters even though this type of anime is ... you know

.I guess as long as they have a job every season .Both Hiroshi Kamiya and Katsuyuki Konishi san.Although Konishi san has a small part here but he the lead character in 2 anime.

WEll so far the fan service is subtle , thank goodness

Episode 2 was...has .action and a plot is being introduced.
