"UN-GO" is a full-fledged detective story about a detective and handsome boy combo who tackle the world's most difficult crimes together for reasons of their own. The profession of private detective fell out of favor long ago, and yet, that's how the young man, Shinjurou Yuuki identifies himself. With his superior deductive powers, Shinjurou solves various challenging cases. Meanwhile, Inga, an attractive young lad, serves as Shinjurou's “buddy”. But contrary to his cute looks, he's a sharp, arrogant rogue. Why Inga sticks with Shinjurou is as yet unknown. The setting of the story is a postwar, future Tokyo that still bears the scars of war. Ruling the land is Media King Rinroku Kaishou, who through politics and industry has the communications infrastructure under his thumb. Kaishou has used a clear head and the massive amount of information at his fingertips to lead to the solution of a great number of cases. But there's an underside to Kaishou's brilliant deduction work, which is that Shinjurou Yuuki, "the Last Great Detective", is the one who actually uncovered "the truth" in those cases. However, the public doesn't know this and thus refers to Shinjurou as the "Defeated Detective". Still, Shinjurou, together with Inga, can't help but search for the truth.

Hmm this one I heard about since it's a BONES project getting some decent pub. And looks like there's still a spot if you look at the Fall lineup http://www.crunchyroll.com/lineup if they do add anything else. Was hoping for more like Ben-to so maybe there's still a chance as they work out deals. Keep up the good work though as this fall so far am following Samurai Girls, Squid Girl Season 2 and Kimi to Boku!

If they have Un-Go they should also air Guilty Crown. They both air on the same station and are part of the noitaminA block, and Crunchyroll aired the full block last season too.

At least a Fall title available for free members in my country! And yay for subs in my language , although I'm sure they will be in Brazilian Portuguese .


I'm very excited for Guilty Crown, and it'd be awesome if CR got it, but "unfortunately" Funimation has already got the rights for it.

this makes me happy i had interest in the show, plus this season doesn't seem to have many new shows. A lot of continuations and sequel seasons (shakugan, squid girl, wagnaria, etc.). I think the show are probably good but i have to go back and watched the previous seasons

Is this the first anime (besides Time of Eve) to have subtitles in a language other than English?

I figured either you or Funi had this show considering it is streaming in other countries.

Awesome, I was betting CR might snag this and I'm glad to see that they did.
And to the people asking about Last Exile and Guilty Crown, Funimation already has them and will start simulcasting them once they air as well.

hope this isnt the last show of the season... dat would be bummers.
