I don't have an iPod, but I've got a Roku, and I wish that ANN (the AoD is a partnership between UK licensors and ANN doing the streaming) did apps like Crunchyroll does.

At least in the US, Hulu+ gets most of the Funimation and TAN streams on the Roku and other devices ~ but that's not an option in the UK.

The Anime Network does offer some mobile support, although doing a quick check of what is actually available, it seems severely limited vs. the website itself.

UN-GO" is a full-fledged detective story about a detective and handsome boy combo

umm...

Meanwhile, Inga, an attractive young lad, serves as Shinjurou's “buddy”

err....

Why Inga sticks with Shinjurou is as yet unknown.

ahh....

Shinjurou, together with Inga, can't help but search for the truth.

hmm...

Pass.

Awesome! Made my day, I've been wanting to see this one! Don't think it'll be yaoi though. At least, not too much. idk.

Yes, it seems to be less than what they do over Hulu+ ... it may well be that after they got their feet wet, they decided that direct app support was too much trouble for too little return, and that was part of their decision to pursue a more aggressive Hulu and Hulu+ channel.

The promotional descriptions were rather deceptive yaoi bait, and I almost passed on it as well because of that. I'm glad I didn't. If you don't like the show for other reasons, that's fine. Maybe I was too impressed with everything else in the show to notice, but it didn't seem homosexual at all. If nothing else, the soundtrack is amazing. Give it a shot.

Un-go had already been licensed by Anime on Demand in the UK.

Sounds like another yaoi series... whats up with that? How about getting the new Last Exitle?

You might want to look up the other anime that (Bones Production) has created. They tend to cater to a more josei audience on a lot of their work. They are also credited with (Cowboy bebop)

Edit: The lot of homophobes in this forum is disturbing. Man up and stop being such sissy's. Oh wait, most of you are immature brats that couldn't come off as anything other than stupid if you practiced... I almost forgot that CR is synonymous with insecurity.

Or they're just people who don't want to waste time watching a show that doesn't appeal to them. Before you go generalizing an entire forum and barking insults, you might want to realize that you're posting here too.

In a perfect world, CR and AoD would work out an agreement to sublicense to each other, so that CR could stream to UK residents (even if only to premium users) anime that AoD had rights to, and AoD could stream series (only within the UK) that CR has UK rights for.
