Good show, though a 2+ week delay on episodes isn't acceptable.

Bento please :sweatingbullets:

oh and Phi Brain: Kami no Puzzle too

Well, those are two that NicoNico.com isn't streaming, so I suppose there is a chance.

Frankly, Ben-to is an odd omission from NicoNico.com, as they are simulcasting it at niconico.jp. I note that Mashiro-Iro Symphony is also an odd one out, as no one has yet announced a U.S. simulcast for it. (gdgd Fairies also falls into the same category, but I would not expect any site outside of Japan to license a children's series for subtitled simulcast).

The remaining titles at niconico.jp are either being streamed by NicoNico.com, Crunchyroll, or TAN.

Yeah, I noticed the Niconico streams, also it seems like they're back to buffer streaming.
ANN states that Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai - Haganai will be streamed by Niconico but I don't see it on Niconico......yet, but I do see other the anime listed: Last Exile, Guilty Crown, C^3, Maken-ki, and Mirai Nikki
5 anime left for legal streaming Mashiro-iro Symphony, Ben-To, Tamayura- Hitotose, Bakuman 2, and Gundam AGE as far as US streaming goes

I would like to see Mashiro-iro Symphony streamed as well as Ben-To but more on Ben-To than Mashiro-iro Symphony
Edit: correction on the anime remaining that yet to have legal streaming as far as US streaming goes

Also it's odd to see Horizon in the Middle of Nohwhere stream on CR keep up with the TAN stream and not see the same thing for MajiKoi

The lineup page an NicoNico.com has yet to list everything they announced, as Shakugan no Shana III (Final) was also mentioned in the press release and ANN news article.

Since CR didn't obtain the rights to stream the first Bakuman series, that doesn't make a license likely for the second season, but the same could be said for Wagnari!! (Working!!). The difference with Bakuman is that Media Blasters already has the license to the second season. While they license titles to Crunchyroll, they have never done a simulcast before. It may be that they would be willing, but their license didn't included simulcast rights*, which would put CR back to having to work with the Japanese rights holder again, even after getting permission from Media Blasters.

*They probably have streaming rights, but their contract for the license probably did not include getting the episodes at the time of broadcast, and perhaps not until the season is over.

I really thought Bandia would have gotten Gundam AGE and offered it for simulcast, much as with Sacred Seven last season. Of course, Phi Brain is another Sunrise production, and is getting no simulcast at this point, while Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere, the remaining Sunrise Production, is at both TAN and Crunchyroll.

While I am happy this show was added, I have to wonder why it was added two weeks behind.

Even The Anime Network (who before this season were the exclusive simulcaster for Sentai-licensed titles) did not premiere it until Tuesday, October 4, and the following episodes air a few days later, on Tuesday.

It remains to be seen if CR will post two episodes to start, as the series page is currently still inaccessible. I note in the announcement message for Wagnaria!! 2, they made no mention they would be posting two episodes at the start, so the same could be true for Horizon. That said, even that would still put them a week behind, and several days behind TAN.

That has happened before (this season, as I recall). It usually happens because they have forgotten to unhide the page, not because of an incorrect link. Hopefully it will be resolved before the streaming is due to start.

Why is it streaming on Saturday when it comes out on Wednesdays?

Even if there is good news, somebody (me) always finds something to complain about. Sorry.

Except for NHK, no anime ever airs in Japan on a single day. Horizon airs on three different days on like seven different television stations, because Japanese TV is like one national network and a bunch of private, mostly single-city, stations.

ANN lists it as premiering on Saturday, and with additional Japanese broadcasts on Sunday and Monday, Japanese time, and TAN "simulcasts" it on Tuesday, US time ~ probably because of the Japanese broadcast partners complaining about streaming sites getting the series before they did.

Why Crunchyroll would air it on Saturday would be they negotiated for the right to air it one week after it broadcast in Japan, not one week after TAN simuclast it two to three days later. Of course, that assumes that they will catch up two episodes and then continue one week after its Japanese premier.

And why they have to catch up is since Sentai won the competition for the main streaming license, they had to start from that point negotiating with Sentai instead of the original licensor. Contract negotiations take time, and then when the contract is sealed, the materials have to be delivered and the online streaming files mastered.

Probably takes that long to properly translate all the odd jargon within the series. Silly too, when all we want to do is ogle some impossible boobs in skintight bodysuits.
