I have learned to appreciate a peaceful and harmonious life - without all the unnecessary drama. Due to yaoi.
Never knew having a guy-guy relationship would be such a roller coaster ride. I also learned how to play hard-to-get. LOLs |

Because most are totally based on super realistic relationships -_- I think(hope?) you were mostly joking here, but I wanted to point out that most yaoi is really no reflection of actual relationships or how real gay men actually think or act. It's written largely by women, for women and it is written to suit the fancies of young women and girls. Although most actual relationships between two men(or women, for that matter) are going to be more strained simply because they have so many more stressors and a much smaller dating pool in which to find an ideal partner, they're otherwise....really boring. Just like everyone else. I'm not accusing you, but it irks me when girls base their understanding of gay men on yaoi. |
