Lamenting on the past won't change it.
and like losingorbit, I too find the future far more pressing than the past.

For me, regret is an intense feeling. It isn't anything pleasant. Sometimes you think, things could be better. Too bad for me I imagine.

.-. unfortunately, wondering "what if.." is all i do
regret is my second name
i wish someone or something could stop me from doing it.
i can change my mistakes. not one of them and my heart needs to understand it

I mostly try not to dwell on the past - what's done is done, you can only move forward, *insert other pithy saying here*

But sometimes, yeah, I falter and can't help that "what if" from taking over my brain. I did a lot of stupid things in the past that I do regret, mostly things like letting certain chances slip away without fighting hard enough for them, and if I could go back and change those things, I'd jump at the chance. Not that I know for certain that doing things differently means it all would have been better, but at least I wouldn't have to wonder...

Whats done is done and you can't change it so live for today for you may die tomorrow.

I've always wondered what would have happened if I chose the dark side of the force.

"What if?" is one of the most frustrating questions there is... It gives a person a sense of regret and most of the time makes people think negatively of themselves or their situation. That's why I rarely ask myself that question. I always tell myself that if I did my best, it doesn't matter "what could have been", because what matters now is "what is".

I do, but when I think about it, I just get this gut feeling that it will become worse than it already is, if I am making any sense. Regretion- not really my friend. Guess I should just contemplate more thoroughly before doing anything, which I do do majority of the time.
Things like this happened because of my doing. I will be responsible and solve it myself, now, than to think of going back.

I'm not much of one for counterfactual thinking. However, I would like to "go back" just to find out what the heck I was doing back then and see how much (or, more likely, how little) I have actually changed from back then.

I wonder what it would be like now if i didnt lose my parents trust.
I wonder if i went out with this boy that i liked back in 10th grade but didnt because of my friends, would i still be with him?
I wonder alot of things and i wish i could go back to the past, but i cant -_-
