Didnt see a thread for this

Well this is a Slice of Life/cute/Drama-ish type anime, I was actually borderline to tears during the first episode. I mean its not even 1/10th of the drama/cryfest like Clannad was...but I couldnt help but feel sad for the main character.

Anyway here is the synopsis.

Tamayura centers around a young girl named Fu Sawatari who moves to Takehara, Hiroshima to begin her first year of high school. Her father, now dead, grew up in Takehara, and this is her first time back in the town in five years. Fu enjoys photography and is often engrossed with taking pictures with her father's old Rollei 35S film camera. A shy girl, Fu tries her best to make friends early on, spurred on by her childhood friend Kaoru Hanawa. She quickly becomes friends with two other girls, Maon Sakurada and Norie Okazaki.

This is not an anime I would suggest watching right away or anything, in fact, I would probably suggest watching this if you dont have anything else to do.

Most people will probably find it boring, I need to see the next episodes to see whats up

so a series with actual plot instead of PLOT hmm... well i will be watching this. Drama/slice of life are my ticket this time around than harem cookie cuter series "i mean no offense to anybody but i have seen enough in the past 5 years to last a life time"

This is a great one imo.
Quite adorable and fun.
Even though I felt as they were trying abit too hard in ep to be sad, I changed my mind about that after watching ep 2 xD

drama isn't a big thing state side, despite clannad being popular and other works, then agian it's probably not helping that it's not licensed or talked about on ann either.

Yeah, you people who insist on only watching legal stuff are missing out on some great anime :P

Now dont say that .. its the Anime production company's fault for not trying hard to get their work out there streamed legally not unless they give the unofficial a OK to the not so legal stream sites.

Anyway , I saw the first episode. It seem interesting .I will watch it again when there are more episode out.

The ANN preview reviewers gave it pretty good marks, actually. That is part of the reason that I checked it out.

you guys need to see the 4 ova's first to get what's going on with the show, and then you will like it even more.

I like this one. First episode was really slow but the pacing and story gets more interesting as it goes on. I wanna know what's up with the girl, Mao, whistling everything instead of talking.

Man, this anime really gives me warn and fuzzy feelings. It also makes me sad sometimes, but no tears or anything, just sad, but then it goes back to being happy, and then we get a dosage of something cute

Chrome_mist: Perhaps slice-of-life anime are not your cup of tea?

I love this show. It gives me warm fuzzies and the first episode had me crying - not the sad crying though.
