It actually wasn't that good of a movie. The second film was a whole lot more scarier and seemed alot longer.

I personally have not found any of them scary, but the second one only seemed to get really good near the end.

I disliked this movie the most out of the franchise. It was way, WAY over the top.

The first one was so successful because it actually looked like a real home video. The second continued it pretty well. The home videos make it really seem like this happened in the "real" world. In the third movie, we're led to believe the grandmother is a

and that just pushed it way too far. It didn't feel like a "home video" any more, it felt like a Hollywood production.

The whole movie was pretty over the top, but that ending just KILLED it for me.

The movie wasn't all that good. . .

A few scares here and there, but not alot explanation about the grandmother or the witchcraft/satanic ritual at the end of the movie.

Don't waste your time or money going to see this in theaters it was very disappointing compared to 1 and 2 and personally I thought was the worst ending of the 3, when it's built up in the previews to be the best. All in all i'd said worth renting when it comes out but like I said i'd try to find some other movie.

The Paranormal Activity series has to really be looked at like the Saw series. The first one was ground breaking and awesome, but most of the sequels thereafter are best looked at as background filler/information more than continued scares.

I liked all 3, great storyline and fun scares.
