Yo! I'm back and I have some more questions! this time it's about tires. So the question is can I use used tires from like a tire dump to practice ? and what kind of place would be good to practice without a race track (near my location there isn't any)

You can use cheap used tires but they won't last long and they'll provide crappy grip when drifting.

Are you sure that's no racetracks in your area? I just googled searched 3 of them in your state.

I went through a bunch of used tires last year, mostly because it's all the budget would allow, also it was good experience learning to drift on differest sizes and compunds of 14's, 15's, and 16's. So ,yeah I'd say go for used! As far as where to go........Try to find someplace kinda remote, you know like an Industrial park or old factory, someplace away from a residential area. It helps to not have a fart cannon muffler, it attracts attention. Don't overstay! Drift for a bit, then get lost!

Thanx for the advice, I've actualy done quite a bit of "reaserch" for old factories and empty spaces like that but no luck every potential drifting spot is taken... I think I'll try empty parking lots but it's not the best choice...

So what if they're 19's? Just stay away from curbs or, better yet, hit up a drift day (no curbs!).

drifting is like a kind of art, you're not in control, but your also not out of control, its like the yin and yang concept u know??
