KAMUI (Sorry! I know he's not a minor, but I added him last and I kind of forgot I was fishing for minors ._.)

KAWAKAMI BANSAI ("Tsunpo-san")

SHIRINO DOMAN

ITOU KAMOTARO

HOSEN (King of the Night)

Bansai. The guy is one of the coolest of Gintama, a bit underlooked maybe but definitely very interesting.
Plus I don't consider Kamui as a "minor" villan even though he's not seen much.

Tue that, I added Kamui last... So I was just thinking 'villain...villain...villain'
Then after I created the poll I was like ..Oops! Not minor! - so yea, my bad!
And it's Bansai for me too! He's soo cool! xD

I vote Okita Sogo (I know, not listed)....I'll admit I'm only 40-some episodes in, but I consider him a minor villain because of his desire to kill his boss...other than that he's a pretty good guy, and he's my favorite because of his inappropriate use of a bazooka anytime and every time he can.

Ahhh, wait till you get to ep 58 and you'll know who the true villains are.. look forward to it!
The 'minor' here defines characters that have minor roles, not as in being 'a little evil'... lol
Okita is certainly one of the very main ones!

That makes more sense, but I think I like the "a little evil" take on it still :-)
I look forward to more, I'm watching one or two a day, it's my main show on here now (besides keeping current on Bleach and Naruto Shippuden, and pining for more Blue Exorcist).

O[]o?! I can't believe you're watching it that way, how is that even possible?! How do you 'stop' watching Gintama after one or two eps?!
ritee...just wait till you reach the Benizakura arc.

full-time grad school, plus full-time work, plus a few other things in life getting in the way. I'll admit though, 1-2 per day was describing my AVERAGE viewing, its more like in a week I'll have a few spurts of 5-10 episodes each. Oh, and for today I'm up to ep 54...I should make it to 58 tonight to see what you're talking about; it's only 11, still early!

Gintama has some good gags before that point, but 58 is when it starts introducing some variety and becomes truly awesome.

You definitely should have included her instead of Kamui.

I like Tsunpo-san/Bansai. LOL I love the jokes about his hearings.
OMMYGOD I loved how Gin-san made fun of them during one of their fights (which is the Kamotaro Itou arc - well, I don't exactly remember the name of that arc)

Umm, not to be a party-pooper or anything but you forgot:

Okada Nizou

Professor Hayashi

Jiraia

And from the new season that started up after the long break (dunno if you knew about these when making the poll or not but w/e)

Kujaku Hime Kada

Dark Vader

And the whole Makoto-thing, yeah. When you added Bansai you should probably have added the rest of Takasugi's sidekicks too.

...And the Kamui-thing you were talking about earlier, yeah.

/rant

Anyway I voted Itou.

Screw, Jiraia is the best candidate after all...
I took the liberty of assuming that no one would like Nizou so I didn't put him up... I was wrong.
This poll was made before Dark Vader made his first appearance...
Thanks a bunch!

^Yeah, I would certainly have voted Jiraia if he was in the poll. He got a great backstory, and was a cool villain using his brains as well as brawns against Gintoki and Tsukuyo.

And hey now, even if everybody hates Nizou, he was still a central minor villain in the series, so he definitely deserved a spot in there.
