The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Anyone else psyched about this soon-to-be-out RPG extravaganza? It should easily be more engrossing than Oblivion ever was.

I am completely and absolutely psyched out about it. Hell, this will be the first game I've bought since Minecraft, way back in the early days of alpha. I've loved Oblivion to death, and Skyrim is looking amazing right now. Plus the coolest part is how the graphics requirement is so low, I'm honestly surprised! Plus, you know, there's marriage and all that. Anybody else up for some hot hot Khajit x Argonian homosexual bestiality?...Yeah, no.

I will make my first character a female Nord. Then, I will marry another female Nord and kill dragons! Mwahahaha.

Although I slightly lost my respect for Zenimax / Besthesda due to the "scroll" thing,
I'd still buy their game out of gratitude for the people in the company who made it.
as for the question, the answer is yes, yes I am.

I'm ashamed of myself for not finding out more for this game.. I loved Oblivion so I preordered Skyrim without hesitation. I was kind of worried about the requirements for this game..

I think its just sad that skyrim is considered the underdog this year. I guarantee it has more depth than cod, uncharted and arkham city combine. i just hope it gets a worthy score.

i feel the same way about zelda too. used to be the one to beat now its overlooked.

I will definitely be getting Skyrim. While I don't have high hopes in terms of anything groundbreaking apart from what Morrowind and Oblivion have done, I do expect it overall to be a much more refined game.

Unfortunately my PC won't be able to run it, so I'll be playing it on the Xbox. I'm not huge into mods, but the option is nice.

Oblivion was a great game so i am pretty pumped for Skyrim, I agree that it is shitty that Skyrim is considered the underdog compared to other games this year, as it promises hundreds of hours of gameplay and hopefully will be as great as many expect it to be.

Well, one of the developers was able to beat the main quest in two hours and eleven seconds, but...He did know the ins-and-outs of it all. I'm looking forwards to at least 200, maybe 300 hours of gameplay (I've given Oblivion a good 150, and Morrowind at least 100.)

Wait! Are we talking about Bethesda's The Elder Scrolls, or are we talking about Notch's new SCROLLS game? I'm so confused, they're so similar!

I also gave oblivion a good 150 hours of gameplay. I did hear about the developer beating the main quest in 2 hours which is pretty amazing, but if what i read is true Bethesda is promising hundreds of hours of gameplay with all the side quests and such so it should be good. I haven't heard of notch's scrolls game, what is it ?

I'd hope it gets game of the year but it really does have alot of competition out there. But few games can immerse some one for hundreds of hours like i'd assume skyrim will, and to me thats exactly what a GOTY should be.

Skyrim is sooo epic.
