Did anyone pick up Battlefield 3 for the xbox? I did and it has replaced wow. The multiplayer is amazing, and the campaign is pretty over the top. Who else plays?

I got it yesterday (UK launch). The single player is pretty forgettable, haven't finished it yet but I know its quite short.. Online is absolutely amazing though! Really fun and frustrating at the same time.
I wonder how Modern Warfare 3 is stand up against it?

It isn't gonna change much, I like the pacing for Battlefield online compared to CoD's. I am sure that there will be more people playing MW3.

I prefer Battlefield 3 over MW3. The multiplayer is better in BF3.

I like the multiplayer, but i think Bad Company 2 was better for single player, I prefer a lighter plot. Also i prefered BC2's multiplayer more, it just had a slightly different feel to it. But BF3 is still a great game.

I picked it up, still enjoy playing it now and then, but I think I will be trading that and MW3 in for some of the great feb/march games, if EA/Dice would actually fix issues that have been around since the beta for BF3 (not joining games with ur squad on the other team) I would probably be keeping it.

BattleField 3 is aces!

BF3 is pretty rad. I got it the day it came out for xbox. It took time getting used to all the new maps - it was my second fps, before bf3 i played bfbc2.

yeah but you know EA... they charge for online passes.... so buying a used one will just add an extra 800 mc points to pay for a pass... the worlds evil like that
