And this is why I said at the beginning of the season United needed an ACTUAL right back and a new center midfielder :/
Bringing Scholes back helped but c'mon, with Fletcher gone too United midfield became pretty much just Carrick and Scholes with the occasional Tom Cleverly sighting. Bleh oh well at least it's been a close race thus far. If City pull it out I can't really say they don't deserve it bot clubs sitting on 86 points is pretty impressive and it's made for a good show.

At the start, I preferred City to United. But now I realize that City are a bunch of twats. I hope united win.

They have quite a few characters. Most of which lack any form of sportsman ship. Manchini may be the biggest douche I've ever seen. Don't get me wrong they've played brilliantly. But I'd expect a team that spent what £200m + on players SHOULD win the title, and lets be honest it shouldn't have been this close with how much they spent.

Agreed, but I can't say Rooney has much sportsmanship. I hate my own international team usually because it's full of people like him.

Yeah he has a history with that, but I have to say he's actually gotten better.
I'd take Roo over Balotelli any day.

The English national team has so much potential but has had the same flaw for the past decade+. They don't play as a team very well. Which is unfortunate. I may be American but since we'll never win a world cup I tend to root for my heritage teams Germany and England(Wales and Scotland never qualify lol)

I like Germany aswell, most of my favourite players are from there. Particularly Bastion Schweinsteiger, who must be my favourite player of all time.

And lol, I feel bad for the less able british teams like Scotland. I'd like to see them in the final 16, but I don't think there's much chance of that happening.

Schweinsteiger is probably my second favorite midfield player behind Scholes.

I think the German team played brilliantly in the WC but unfortunately their high power counter attack couldn't do much against spains play style :/

Can't wait for Euro 12. It's gonna be a good one.

Also i would like to see Scotland do well, but unfortunately with Fletcher out their midfield took a major blow.

Gonna get emotional down The Britannia today. It's, possibly, (hopefully not for certain) Ricardo Fuller's last game. Manly tears will be shed. It's been spread among Stoke fans over the internet that at 10 minutes we're going to sing his song. I might honestly cry. v_v If he scored, I know for certain I will.

That's what I like about football, most passionate fans in the world.

City are a bunch of twats. Nothing I hate more in sports than teams throwing around money and thinking they deserve to win something (Man City, Yankees, Cowboys). Though, as samuells said, you would expect City to win with as much talent as they have. I'm hoping Arsenal bring in at least a few more quality players who finally put their foot down on shipping in ridiculous goals.

I've always been privy to France and Japan in international competitions. Both play a finesse style of football that doesn't emphasize the extreme of all-out attack or the dourness of a sitting defense. I do love watching all teams play though; Germany and Spain are always good fun. Seeing all the different types of players and variations in style has always been fascinating.

I pull for the US too but they're still as mediocre as ever. They just don't have a unique style that complements their talents. I'm still surprised Klinsmann hasn't instilled a definitive identity with the team yet. They haven't had one for decades now. The team doesn't have enough star power to have a balanced approach in football just yet so they just need to stick with one approach and perfect it.

Arsenal will be geting some firepower with Podolski, but they still have a lot of holes to fill. CB being a big one and I'd say central midfield as well.

As for the US, hopefully in time they will develop, but I do like one thing Klinsmann has done, he's picked up a lot of 18-25 year olds with German and US citizenship, (most of which because of US military men marrying German women etc) and have convinced them that since tehy didn't make the German team to play for America. I know we're getting the people Germany didn't want, but lets be honest getting Bundesliga players is better than MLS players.

Yeah, and I heard or read somewhere that Klinsmann was including more Latino players too. Because for some reason or another I had heard Bradley wasn't honing in on their talents or something. Not sure if this is altogether true or if just hearsay. I don't necessarily mean to imply there's a huge problem with racism in the US Soccer camp but we would do well to use our best players available to us regardless of background.

I'm hoping Arsenal get another defender, preferably left back. Can't trust Gibbs' health or Santos ability to defend just yet (especially since he's better suited in midfield). Would also love to see the overdue replacement(s) for Fab and Nasri. Oh, and a strong central midfielder like M'Vila.

Okay, okay maybe that's a bit much but I can still dream, right?!

Arsenal need a LB, CB and CAM, that is all I believe. Though Gibbs is still young and is a pretty decent LB right now. I'd like to see us nab Vertonghen so he can partner Vermaelen, whilst Koscielny and Mertesacker can be back up, but whether they'd be satisfied with that I dunno.

I think we have plenty of cover in the middle of defense at the moment especially if Bartley makes strides next season for the first team. I just don't want to see a repeat of this year, where our whole team stuttered because of the lack of support from proper wing backs which is important when you play wide like we often do with the likes of Walcott and the Ox.

Kagawa might ultimately be going to United but if they also have their eyes on Lewandowski then I don't see them buying two players from Dortmund which may mean Kagawa could come to Arsenal. Plus, Wenger knows a bit of Japanese and Kagawa has already mentioned Arsenal as a possible destination for him.
