Shizuka walked back to her room after seeing as nothing interesting was happening.

Trent walked around the halls of the Castle as if he was a guard patrolling the castle. As his daily routine, he knocked on the Princess's door to make sure she was doing well.

Shizuka did not feel like getting up from her chair so she continued to gaze out the window. She knew that this was the Prince's daily routine so she ignored his knocks.

Trent stopped knocking as it was not worth his energy to continue knocking if there was no answer. He asked without any emotion,"Is everything alright?"

Shizuka slowly stood up and turned to him. "Yes. Is there something going on that I need to know about since someone is always checking up on me?" Shizuka said in a bitter tone even though her face was still in its neutral facade. This was always a touchy subject to her since it always reminds her that she has no freedom. She didnt mind at times but today she was in a more grumpy mood than usual because she was bored. Shizuka turned around.

Trent was used to this type of snappy attitude and was not fazed,"No, but the Lord wants me to check up on you now and then." He could tell her mood was worse then usual though but didn't make an effort to say anything about it.

Shizuka silently sighed and turned around to face him again. She was getting annoyed, especially since she hasnt been in a good mood lately. "And why is that?" Shizuka asked rhetorically. Shizuka took a deep breathe and started walking past Trent. "Im going for a walk." Shizuka didnt care if the people of Noir raised suspicion as to why the Princess was outside of the castle, since she rarely leaves the castle.

He walked in pace with the Princess reminding her,"Princess, you need to have someone come with you if you go outside of the castle walls. It's the Lord's wish that you do."

On her way out, she grabbed a dark cape and covered her head, concealing her face. Shizuka ignored Trent as she continued walking towards the exit.

Trent frowned on the inside as Shizuka ignored him doing as she pleased. He sighed quietly and followed her being her companion to get outside the castle,"Where are you going, Princess?" He asked this as he pulled the cloak he wore to hide his face for precaution.

Shizuka stopped walking and turned around to face Trent. "I am going for a walk...alone." Shizuka knew that he was an obedient little puppy to the Lord and would probably not stop following her. Because of this, she took out her fan, which she keeps with her at all times, and when she opened it, a gust of cold air blew and she froze the ground, layering it with ice. Then she pointed her fan to Trent's feet and iced his feet along with the ground. Shizuka then put her fan away and walked out of the door. After closing the door, she iced the handles so it wouldnt be able to open either, allowing her to escape.

Trent was not thrilled as Shizuka left him frozen to the ground and inside the castle as she left the grounds. He sat down unable to melt the ice unless he chipped at it with his dagger which probably wouldn't help too much. On the outside he was expressionless but on the inside he was panicked.

Cedric opened the wide, heavy doors to the castle and marched in. The servants made way for him and avoided eye contact. The Lord of Noir went to his chamber, exhausted from the meeting he had in another land. The meetings were getting nowhere these days. If he and the others kept on disagreeing, then they would have no advances. By now, the other lands must have caught on of the illicit activity.
Cedric sighed, putting a hand on his forehead. Patience, he mentally reminded himself, though his patience was wearing thin.
He rang for a servant, one that was in charge of keeping an eye on the Prince and Princess.
"The Princess has been out for quite some time and the Prince went looking for her. I am unaware of their location, but will act immediately on searching for them," came the answer. He sent the servant away and proceeded to walk to his library.
The Lord of Noir sighed, frustrated. All the stress has been piling up, but he still tried to remain composed. He sat down at his library, looking over documents and reports.

Among the reports was an average sized envelope, a red-wax seal with a crudely drawn smiley face held it closed. There was no return address, but it was addressed to ' Lord Cedric' in a very scribbled manner with black ink.

Cedric placed a document down and looked up at the ceiling. When he looked down again, from the corner of his eye, he saw a peculiar envelope. Everything about it looked normal, except for the seal. Cedric picked it up and turned it around, looking for a return address but there was none. With another hand, Cedric grabbed his letter opener and slid it under the wax seal. He proceeded to read the contents of the letter.
