“Runaway” is a story about happenings after a hefty sum of money reappears in 2010, 60 years after it disappeared during the Korean War. Rain takes the part of Gi-woo who gets involved in a mysterious murder case, and Lee Na-young plays the part of Ji-ni. Lee Jeong-jin is cast in the role of Do-soo, an investigator at the Foreign Affair Investigation Department, who chases them.

“Runaway” is a highly anticipated blockbuster with its cast from Korea, Japan, and China and pursuing scenes which will take place in various Asian cities. It is a romantic comedy action different from any other TV dramas.



“Sungkyunkwan Scandal” is a dynamic and passionate story of young men and women of Sungkyunkwan, which was the school for elite students in Joseon Dynasty. Kim Yun-hee disguises herself as a man and takes the state examination successfully for her sick brother, and she enters Sungkyunkwan. She meets Lee Seon-jun, Mun Jae-sin, and Gu Yong-ha as she starts the life in Sungkyunkwan. It is the Joseon Dynasty version of a campus love story.

I just queued Scandal at Hulu+ ~ I'm psyched I do not have to sit through their 6-8 ad breaks per episode to watch this. I just wish I could finish Jewel in the Palace without wading through the Hulu+ ads for the four episodes that aren't converted for Roku yet.

Great to see that you like Jewel in the Palace too. Did you know that Crunchyroll has that show as well? Since you are an all-access member, you can watch the show without ads on Crunchyroll's Roku app

Crunchyroll is where I was watching it, but then I hit episodes 24 and 25, which I reported as missing on Roku 2 or 3 months ago, and which have not been fixed yet. Since I don't normally watch an hour long drama on my netbook, I've been stalled waiting for those episodes to be added.

But I just saw that its also on Hulu+, a couple of days ago, which is why I know how many ads Hulu+ has and how annoying the ads are when watching K-dramas on Hulu+. I've finished 24, and when I finish 25, then I can come back to Crunchyroll to watch them on the Crunchyroll Roku app until I hit the last two missing episodes.

Scandal is so funny! I loved it! I haven't watched the other one. Since I'm currently a teacher in S Korea, I have to find a site where I can watch it.

If you have firefox you and download adblockers so that you don't have to watch the ads, that's what I did when I lived in the states. Trust me, it makes the dramas go so much smoother.
