I prefer paper personally, however physical paper media takes up space and you can only bring so many with you on a trip. So while I do love having an actual book to read I'm thinking about getting a nook or kindle simply to save space. My only real concern is paying for things I've already bought.

I find physical books more intriguing, useful too. They're terrific for guaranteeing the cockroach you deliberately stepped on in that thick carpet is likely really, really dead, deceased, ceased to exist. E-books can't cut it on a manly job like this. The bugs recover, pick themselves up, and crawl away. A genuine 2 or 3-volume English abridged edition plus 5 or 6 Encyclopedia Britannica volumes (to seal the deal) stacked on top is far superior for doing what needs to get done. Die, you darn bug! Die! Don't even think of crawling off.

Physical books. I'm not giving up my library for some crappy electronic device. I have a lot of enjoyable novels waiting to be read, and I may just dive into one tonight. A feast of words, it shall be! A feast of words indeed.

Physical because it doesn't hurt my eyes and I can take it on the bus and read with my headphones in when that weirdo next to me starts reminiscing his life from birth til present fucking day -__-

I have to admit I have a very love hate relationship with my e-reader. On one hand I love it, it's portable, can hold several things I want to read such as books or news papers and it even has wifi so I can get online. But I LOVE real books and news papers. Call me old fashioned since I am a bit older, but some of my most fondest memories of my adolescence are reading books and news papers. There is nothing like having the feeling of a real book in your hand. So I'm partial. I do still like my e-reader, but I also still love my books.

I still greatly prefer paper books. They are more enjoyable to read and its fun to see your bookshelves filled with books you love.

Physical. I'll never forget the day I finished reading Lord of the Rings in 12 days. I was stuck in hospital with nothing else to do but that, probably the only way anyone could ever finish that mammoth thing!

I like real books better. I don't know why but trying to read through a lot of text on the monitor makes me feel too lazy to read a whole story.

Also, I can read real books before I sleep and I don't need to shut anything down. I'd just sleep with the book beside me. XD

I prefer physical books, it's just better.
Although I used read fanfiction on my psp/phone alot.
What I don't like about e-books is that the brightness glare is bad on your eyes.

However, I have seen people read on kindles and those don't have the same problem, the text are similar to like a book and it doesn't shine on your eyes. Pretty cool.

Physical books~~!! I like how the book smells and how it feels on my hand. And a book can be kicked or tossed around. Even if you accidentally tear pages or pour water on it, the book will still survive - just not pretty and clean anymore.

Kindle will be spoil if you accidentally pour water on it.

Anyhow, I just prefer physical books despite the fact that trees have to die for it.

lol. same problem here. I can read a whole lot of text in a book but on a monitor, I just get super lazy and I don't read anything. Or sometimes, my eye and brain hurt from reading text on a monitor.

Physical books. You can always get cheap ones from an op shop for only a dollar or two, or better yet, borrow them from a library for free.

I prefer physical books. I spend enough time on some electronic so its relaxing to settle down with a nice book.
And I too get lazy when seeing a bunch of text on a monitor
