Post Reply advertisement blocking menu

I'm trying to access my queue by clicking on Kraemder and using the drop down menu. There's a toyota advertisement beneath my name and the drop down menu goes "under" it so I can't see the options and clicking where they should be only clicks the advertisement.

I'm using Firefox 7

Agree this is freaking annoying. Stop putting up ads that block the damn menus. Don't make us start using banner ad blocking software.

I don't use adblocking software, but I don't see the ad. I do use NoScript, however.

Adtechus.com appears to be the originating domain for the culprit.

I wouldn't recommend NoScript for everyone, since while it is excellent from a security standpoint, it can be complicated to manage which domains are allowed. If you are using Firefox, you may want to give the Flashblock extension a try, since it is easy to use and blocks any Flash components until you whitelist them (which means it blocks annoying and resource-consuming Flash ads while allowing normal ones).

There's a setting that can fix this but it has to be set directly in the advertisement. So our ad provider has to fix this. We've told them to fix this one as well as to set them up, in the way we specify, in the future. So hopefully this doesn't happen again.
