Remove those as the original poster suggested, and you could have a problem.

There should be no problem. In an environment like this, the user is responsible for what they watch. This is not television which has a far greater reaching viewership and is easily figured out by children. This is a more personal environment.

The reason online streaming is getting the censored shows is because the companies want to keep it a DVD-exclusive and drive up sales. As far as I can tell, I'd say their methods are counter productive. I personally drop shows left and right for high censorship. Majikoi was looking fun, but I'll not see it to the end, thus not consider buying it. Deadman Wonderland had an interesting premise, but it too had an unbearable amount of censorship, thus another series I won't have reason to buy.

How about those that PAY for CR premiuim HAVE the option to watch the uncensored version, that just makes it one more good reason to have one..just a thought.

Most of Crunchyroll's restrictions are non-negotiable... Unlike other legal streaming services, they actually try to get the rights to all regions they can (or are financially plausible).

The only thing they could do is actually work with Sentai when licensing series, rather than licensing series straight from them. This could allow for both more regions on Sentai's titles, and less delaycasts. The same applies to other licenses from US companies.

Thanks for the explanation. Never knew the reason why before this. It seems plausible enough.
