This is my favorite album of the year so far. It's like the soundtrack to the best movie you've never seen. Or maybe a particularly interesting night of dreams distilled into 80 minutes of audio. Yes, it is overly ambitious at times, like most double albums but the ambition mostly pays off as the more experimental interludes tend to strengthen the impact of the more straight ahead pop songs. If you haven't heard it, I highly recommend you do. If you have, what do you think?

I think it is a good album, Midnight City being my favourite track - due to the jazzy parts. But honestly, it is kind of weak compared to the Saturdays=Youth album.

The album feels too short too. When I finish listening to it, I kind of feel like "Is that it? Shouldn't there be more..?" The songs' length isn't particularly long as well.

Contributing all the time that they spent on M83"Hurry Up, We're Dreaming." I have to say I am deeply impressed.
The metal synths in 'Midnight City' is fantastic, and the vocals are and have yet again, surpassed my expectations.
The melancholic sounds are so nostalgic.

Too short? It's an hour and 15 minutes long!

An album that captures so many moods in one sitting is always a rewarding experience and Hurry Up We're Dreaming is definitely one of the best albums of 2011.
