Water is necessary for life; It has no calories, no vitamins, no proteins, and no carbohydrates. It can be visible, invisible, hot, cold, hard and soft.

Brainstorming! (again).. this is just a review, please answer in your own words the following questions.

Reminder:
No Internet browsing/researching please.

1. Where fresh water is found?
2. Where do rivers run?
3. What causes lakes to disappear?
4. What is ground water?
5. How do glaciers change the land?

Yes, think my friend.

1. In ice/glaciers or freshwater streams.
2. Into oceans.
3. soil absorbing it, or heat evaporating it all.
4. Water that is under the ground?
5. They shift and move forward

I didn't browse so most of these are probably wrong lol. Physical science in 9th grade ftw lol

lol that title sounded so refreshing, seriously i got thirsy from reading it and pictured a flowing river...

1. Where fresh water is found? Not in oceans (^_^)
2. Where do rivers run? no where they don't have legs
3. What causes lakes to disappear? Evaporating
4. What is ground water? Water on the ground hmm but isnt it all...thats no good
5. How do glaciers change the land? When they melt and stuff

I only typed top of the head...I'm not proud lol

1. Mostly in small lakes that are formed from rainwater, usually at high elevation.
2. Rivers run from high elevation to low elevation, gravity n all.
3. Evaporation.
4. Water that is contained in underground aquifers.
5. Glaciers are gigantic, like trying to stop a train...just one that moves inches/hr. Also the melting/freezing process can change the land. If a glacier get into a landmass and melts and re-freezes it will erode the land around it.

Ok...all guesses. I haven't taken earth science in a looooong time.

Yes, think my friend.

1. Where fresh water is found?
Bottled water-thats what the label says

2. Where do rivers run?
they dont run...they flow...

3. What causes lakes to disappear?
when there is no more water or if its so dirty it becomes a swamp

4. What is ground water?
underground water

5. How do glaciers change the land?
they melt then flood the land...

1.) Have you ever tried Hiking a mountain yet? Then go to some random mountain range and look for a cool flowing river.
2.) Rivers don't run. lol.
3.) Mainly, through Human Stupidity or just plain El Nino. (damn it >_>)
4.) Ground Water; can be Geysers if near Hot Lands or it can be a flow of clean water. Depending on the place though.
5.) See Global Warming.

Water is awesome! It can also kill you, as well as save your life/make you healthier.

1. Streams, where I live you can collect water from stremas that have flown through mountains, it's delicious!
2. Rivers run in natureish places and near the sea
3. Extreme climate change (heat), evaporation
4. I think ground water is where you dig really deep until you find water...
5. They melt and raise sea levels.

1. Where fresh water is found? water dispensers.. yup hot and cold it is
2. Where do rivers run? why do they have to run?
3. What causes lakes to disappear?global warming xD
4. What is ground water?water near the.. uhm.. ground?
5. How do glaciers change the land? they melt... water rises..

1. 2% glacier and ice, 1% rivers,lakes etc.
2. From the upper course to the middle course then to the lower course. Source to mouth.
3. Change of climate due to global warming
4. The process precipitation takes place, rain falls on surface run-off, water goes through a process called inflitration, the stones in the ground filtrates the water. Then the water that flows beneath the ground is known as ground water.
5. The glaciers melt due to rising heat and raise the water level in the oceans. They also shift.

XD i love geography! I finish learning this topic on rivers last week! YAYS, im certain i can pass this year end exams ~~~~ hmm...but i wonder if i got anything here wrong..please correct me if i do!

1. Where fresh water is found? Glacier/ice/mountain/lake/cave? etc.
2. Where do rivers run? They flow, and mostly flow to lower elevation
3. What causes lakes to disappear?Global Warming, heat, and Human Causes. I think I also heard something about using water to pierce object or wood.
4. What is ground water? Geysor, Hot spring, muddy dirt?
5. How do glaciers change the land? Melt and water rises.

Idk some I might be wrong I try to find different info. in my mind.

1. Where fresh water is found?--mountains/forests(rain forests)
2. Where do rivers run?--streams/lakes/oceans/in my body
3. What causes lakes to disappear?--industrialization/global warming
4. What is ground water?--waters from wells/excavated under the ground
5. How do glaciers change the land?--melt
