So many great films came out in the 70's.
To me, it seems like lots of the films from the 70's changed the world of cinema in a way. They started branching out more causing the public audiences to stir a bit. Mostly because of the ideas that began to come up, also including language, violence, etc. It was a definite breakthrough in my opinion. Some of my favorites are- A Clockwork Orange, Enter the Dragon,\ Straw Dogs and Texas Chainsaw. What are yours : D ? |

The 70s has lotsa stuff I like.
The Godfather is my favorite film. But really, anything by Hal Ashby in the 70s is magical. And Robert Altman. If you all want to watch a film that, whether you like it or not, will never forget, check out Alejandro Jodorowsky's The Holy Mountain. Though the statement is overused, you may very well shit bricks. |
