America is a third world country.
Posted 11/26/11 , edited 11/26/11

I assume that when I said on "how long" people taught it in years or decades for that to happened though when I meant it in centuries and millenniums time, though it's my fault for not being more informative I guess...

Though I quite surprised that people forgot to factor in war, climate change, economic depression and natural disaster
though I don't know if it will cause much affect or if it's considered enough to be a factor.

Those who say America is a third world country fail to understand the reasons that "third world countries" are less wealthy.

My Apologies. There seems to be a mix up with the title when I tried to ask the mod correct my mistake from "American" to "America". They fix it but ended up with "America is a third world country" when it should say "America as a third world country"...
sorry for the inconvenience.

Dude everyone knows Russians will be the superpower. :D

As for Italy, no. I doubt it. I'm actually surprised Germany and France hasn't waged war on Greece and Italy for forging documents to get into the European Union.

Wait....

The U.S. workforce has declined by approximately 6.5% since its year 2000 peak to roughly 58.2% of working age adults and the U.S. now suffers chronic unemployment of 9.1%. Although the workforce grew in the 1980s and 1990s, as dual income families became the norm, the size of the workforce is shrinking due to a lack of economic opportunity.

Other factors include poor public health, nutrition and education, as well as lack of infrastructure. Public health and nutrition in the U.S., while below European standards, stand well above those of 3rd world countries. American public education now ranks behind poorer countries, , but remains superior to that of 3rd world countries. While crumbling infrastructure can be seen in cities across America, the vast infrastructure of the United States cannot be compared to a 3rd world country. However, all of these factors will rapidly deteriorate in a declining economy.

But, America is a melting pot of tough people.....I have no doubt the force of this nation lies is this toughness,,

the people will prevail..

I still don't see them becoming a third world country, unless they decide to not be capitalists anymore.

Same notion here. I don't know but why I can't help but feel that my
stomach is churning ever since I started this forum topic.

Third World Countries are countries that cannot support themselves if trading immediately halted. America can indeed support themselves if they had to. Places like countries of Africa are Third World Countries because they need outside assistance to barely scratch enough to live.

Well we will become a 3rd world nation when we have...

- A "professor tomoe" for a president. Look that character up.

- Civil unrest. We're becoming more like the world of Grand Theft Auto and Saints Row. Then you got this Occupy Chaos Movement!

- People selling us on lies. (global warming, marijuana is good for you, etc)

- The school system being corrupt, teaching the kids 60% of the time things that have nothing to do with basic education.

- Turning one race against another, often on purpose, by the likes of social groups and people like Al Sharpton.

- "Demorats" and "Republican'ts" not agreeing on anything, one party attacking the other accusing them of BS things while saying things like "the children will suffer". *rolleyes*

- Gullible, sheep-like people that can easily fall for anything that is pushed down our throat. Be it a pathetic TV show, a bad song, and whatever the mainstream media says.

- Our news media as it is now. It's a parody of itself. Who still watches it when half the time they're keeping the facts from you, or refuses to report certain stories to shove some useless thing down your throat...and often for days!!?

- Most people can't even speak right or act like themselves individually. They're so afraid of being thought of as "irrelevant" or "not black" and such that they have to look behind them to make sure they're just like everyone else.

- The music industry in the state it is in. You have rap/hiphop recycling the same 3 or 4 beats into a different song, not using real instruments or real individualized singing talent. Just like with the being yourself thing, these "musicians" are afraid no one will buy their albums if they don't sound the same as the other singers. LOL, and these gullible black psychonuts I run into have the nerve to call that "our music". Our...music?? That...is my music? So in other words I cannot listen to anything other than that, or else I'm no longer black? Rock music is no better, when you have "bands" like Nickelback out there. Don't even get me started on Linkin Park, maybe the worst band ever in my opinion. Pop music has never been the same since Michael Jackson went 6 feet under, no one sadly listens to jazz or classical or instrumental music. Then there's the broken record-like club music. No not trance or any techno, I'm talking about the urban ghetto club bullshit that passes for nightclub music.

- Half our jobs...and growing, are getting sent to china. Professor Tomoe--I mean Obama is letting it happen and you all know it. He's picking up where the "wiseman" (another sailor moon reference!) George Bush left off there. You wonder why we're in the economy nightmare we're in?

- The "green" thing. Give me a break. When you people start using common sense solutions, not scaring/forcing people into doing things your way, and telling/encouraging America not to litter, then I'll take you seriously.

- Letting in illegal aliens. No I'm not talking about just mexicans, but all kinds of people of any racial background without documentation. then the government gives them FREE BENIFITS and guess who is paying for them? YOU AND ME OUT OF OUR TAX DOLLARS!!!

Yeah and I'm just getting warmed up here. Don't push me into posting more of this truth on you.

Hey now, let's be fair here. They agree on a number of things, just none of them that the citizens would want them to agree on. They agree on padding their pockets and the pockets of their contributors and friends, not enforcing border legislation, and paying lip service to decreasing the country's debt (while increasing it instead), among other such things.

Weather America becomes a third world country and the second last human superpower or merely the last depends on how quickly it fails and falls vs. how quickly we all die.

We need to get our environmental shit together in about... 5 years or... we're done.

given that the US congress seems capable of deciding that frozen pizza is a vegetable I personally think we are done.

Americans are fat and lazy hell they complain about illegal immigrants taking their jobs despite the fact that those are the jobs they don't even do at all like farming crops by hand for long ass hours. Hell if they just have the dedication to pick their lazy asses up maybe things could be better but America is a deregulated free market and consumer economy who doesn't produce or offer much.... note you're free to disagree blah blah whatever..

Hmm.... and yet, not a single care was given today.
