Catman was one of the few things I've reviewed.

It was wonderful.

As far as I can tell, Hyakko was not part of the same package ... and if Hyakko is a quality series, I wouldn't be surprised if Nozomi (RightStuf) picked it up. They only pick up series that have been definitely passed on by all the other R1 publishers ~ that's the natural niche for them, since RightStuf cannot afford to antagonize the other R1 publishers, and Hyakko will have been on the market long enough for all the other R1 publishers to have passed already.

Well if I go by your logic, then there is one show that should have been licensed by now, and that is Itazura na Kiss. It is a great romance comedy, at least in my opinion, not many slice of life school life shows follow the main characters from high school, into college, and even after that.

the live action version can be bought from rightstuf, I believe. but I would love to see hyakko, and Itazura na Kiss, licensed for DVD release.

Noting that "not surprise if its picked up" is not as strong as "is likely to be picked up" ... but, yeah, while we have no way of knowing whether one of the distributors is considering it, or is negotiating for it, at least not unless and until it is announced as a pick up ... but Glass Maiden was a 2008 series, and it was announced this last June, so a 2008 series like Itazura na Kiss ought to be in the shop window now.

I'm a little surprised Hyakko was up for as long as it was. Glass Maiden was picked up by Section 23/Sentai Filmworks. I had no interest in Cat-Man. It's always sad to series go. Thanks for the warning and making it clear WHEN they expire.

Looks like I'll have to finish Glass Maiden now. I'm horrible at procrastinating so a marathon it is then.
