Occupy Wall Street is leaderless resistance movement with people of many colors, genders and political persuasions. The one thing we all have in common is that We Are The 99% that will no longer tolerate the greed and corruption of the 1%. We are using the revolutionary Arab Spring tactic to achieve our ends and encourage the use of nonviolence to maximize the safety of all participants.

This #ows movement empowers real people to create real change from the bottom up. We want to see a general assembly in every backyard, on every street corner because we don't need Wall Street and we don't need politicians to build a better society.

What are your thoughts on it?
What is your Political views and what do you believe the outcome will be?
Do you believe this is relevant to the revolution in Egypt or do we fall short of hope?

I believe this won't be won without violence, the united states is to organized and well drawn for us to even draw this fallacy.

You do know, I don't agree with it at all right?
And if you do feel that way, then do it.
You're to scared and shallow to even make a move.

Oh boy, a man using pepper spray on unarmed protestors.
Do you spray teachers peacefully protesting because of pay grade drops?

I think that their heart is in the right place, but their cause may be a little misguided. I think that they should use the power of voting to get the right politicians elected like the Tea Party did. As useless and their rallies seemed, they still managed to elect several of their preferred politicians.

Teachers are hippies?
Doctors, People in the service,CEO's,Police departments.
Every job you can think of is within #occupy wallstreet.
You don't even know what you're saying, you drive around the point and suggest I even agree with OWS.
Save yourself the embarrassment and crawl back into your basement.

Someone told me this regarding the Tea party and OWS.

"Now, the Tea party is a group of protestors, Occupy wall street is a group of revolutionists.
The Tea Party will take a no, occupy wallstreet? No isn't in our vocabulary."
-Burton; occupy seattle.

Preyar, can you plz explain why this movement is pathetic?

To answer the op's question, I think the movement is good. I mean who really wants corruption in government, the ability for corporations to give unlimited money to politician (essentially buying their votes), and letting banks do what ever they want. I see three different ways this movement can go. 1) The movement takes a long time, and gets some of their goals accomplished. 2.) The movement turns violent but not due to protesters starting the violence. 3) The movement just dies a slow death.

3) The movement dies a slow and painful death*
Over 100 of fake claims that the police are doing this and that.
The videos, which only contain of footage of the police doing anything. Luckily the police film the events too so that you can see how it really went by.
They use their kids as shields, pushes elderly people down the stairs, jumps in front of police motorcycles to get an injury that they can report them for etc. etc. etc. ETC.
Now Jechotas, tell me something about this movement that isn't pathetic.

The "go get a job" remark is the most uneducated, ignorant thing anyone can even say about the movement. If that's your only response I suggest you go actually read or study said movement before embarrassing yourself. You set yourself on a higher stage than these people, but everyone else who understands the movement, and then reads posts or remarks like this that are being fed by the likes of Fox news get to laugh at how simply dumb you are.

I would stray from such a fallacy, but there literally is no other way to put it. You lie to yourself about the situation, or are blind to the obvious. And from there, you justify yourself in some messed up logic as being able to insult these people for their cause without proper inspection.

It simply comes down to if those are your opinions: You are dumb.

It's like people forget what America was founded on, what the hell the constitution is and what equal liberties/rights are.

A large amount of the people there are quite far from hippies as noted above.

Let me learn ya somethin, The Young Turks, Raw Story, any independent news coverage - watch it - it might blow your mind, but amazingly enough Fox might actually not be 100% truthful in everything they show on their media coverage! Amazing.
