Yeah, our media is very much biased these days. Instead of telling the truth, many of the big news names like CNN distort it. And many journalists don't ask people some of the really important questions that should be answered because they'll probably get fired if they do, which is messed up. This is why we occupy!

I have found the best way to stay current is to just read it online, you can read what interests you and what affects you in any particular way, mean while watching the news is biased and sometimes a big waste of time

Ive never been a fan of watching the news on TV, but I do to some degree try to keep up with current events by reading a newspaper or two each day. Usually Newsday, The post, or NY Times.

I read/watch the news a lot, and then I watch the Daily Show/Colbert Report spin on things too.

Pretty much only read about international relations topics though since those are the only ones that impact me directly.

I keep pretty updated on sports news.

I browse local, national, and international news on sites like Seattle Times, NY Times, BBC, Washington Post, etc.

I don't really care for most of the stories because the media is so sensationalist, fear-mongering, and rarely objective.

Yes, I mostly watch Independent news from unbiased reporters.

Because everything else (FOX, CNN, MSNBC) is controlled by the Illuminati!

"Independent" news? "Unbiased" reporters? Theory of journalism teaches there are no such things
