out of my opinion...I think MW3 is a great ending to the franchise of the Modern Warfare series...great maps, great weapons, JUST GREAT EVERYTHING!!!!!!

Loved the campaign, the spec-ops is fun with friends, but the multiplayer I was very disappointed in. The maps are small, on most it feels like the dev team spent a day on each. I was going to buy the Elite for COD but was very glad I played the game first. Its unfortunate they went this path as I was looking forward to this game, but Gears3 beats this hands down, Battlefield 3 would if the servers were stable (and they might with updates).

I love the single player campaign. But multiplayer sucks. Maps are way to small, Your consatantly running into people. BF3 is better for multiplay. I have both.

They never fixed quickscoping and they made several weapons way too overpowered (strikers). The campaign and spec ops were fun though.

Overall it was a travesty. It's absurd to even call it Modern Warfare 3, a more appropriate name would be Modern Warfare 2.5. The campaign was alright, nothing new was introduced and it was very worn out. Multiplayer is impossible to play and requires no skill anymore because the developers coddled to newbs making it easier than ever to kill. The maps are all terrible and small and the strike package systems a joke. Spec ops, GOOD JOB... SOMETHING NEW!

I kind of have to disagree, because if the maps are too big then people will just keep saying that COD had copied Battlefield or something T.T

I have still yet to purchase MW3 myself but I have played the couple of "Free weekends" that Steam has over the past few months.
From what I did play of it it was just another COD game, nothing special at all but still, just like all the other COD's it was still fun and addicting.
Thinking if I should purchase it over the Steam Summer Sale that they are going to have pretty soon but not to sure...

Mmm. It's okay. I do like it, though I think it's been more focused on the whole "clan" and Elite thing. I have yet to buy Elite premium, but I will be doing so in the next few weeks. I haven't joined a clan yet, but I've been thinking about joining one.
Of course there's the usual bullsh*t, but COD always has it moments where it reels you back in for another session of gameplay after gameplay.
My main addiction is earning titles! I love getting those rare titles that have people saying, "Woah! How did you get that one?" I especially love matching it up with an emblem :3
