Hey guys,

We just added Gye Baek and 1000 Kisses to our Korean drama library today!
Premium members have access to ALL episodes* while free users can watch 5 episodes/week.

This period drama was produced to shed light on how noble values championed by General Gyebaek of the Baekje kingdom last much longer than the battle cheers of the victors in history. There is no intention to make this a period drama that glorifies Baekje. Nor is it correct to assume that this TV show intends to rewrite Baekje’s history. But for a kingdom that lasted for 680 years, it is time to address the falsehoods that Baekje collapsed due to a tyrant ruler who purportedly was a drunk. There should be a comprehensive look at how Baekje was surrounded by encroaching kingdoms that formed alliances to the detriment of Baekje.

1000 Kisses is a new romantic family drama. This drama portrays the differences in older woman-younger man and younger woman-older man relationship. A single mother with young son falls in love with a man younger than her. Her sister, who has a cheerful and optimistic personality, falls in love with a man much older than her.

Cool, I've heard 1,000 kisses is good. I wish they'd get "Dream High", it's a very very very good Kdrama.

Hrmm... both of these sound pretty good. I get kinda bored with the period dramas though. I guess I just like seeing Korean girls in short skirts and stuff, not the long frumpy looking outfits from centuries past. xD

They are interesting, but they just start wearing on my after like the 15 episode.

Dream High 2 is supposed to start airing Jan 30, 2012. They have finalized the main cast already...

On December 6th, the producers of ‘Dream High 2′ and CJ Media announced that Kang Sora would be taking on the role of ‘Shin Hye Sung‘, an awkward and somewhat weird idol aspirant who learned music solely through effort.

Kang Sora, who plans on showcasing her strong acting abilities through this new role, commented, “I’ve only acted until now, so having to perform on stage as well is honestly a burden. However, I’m both nervous and excited because this will be a new challenge for me.”

Hyorin will play the role of ‘Nana‘, a student with amazing talent and natural abilities. Hyorin mused, ”Nana has a broad-minded personality that is similar to mine, so I have an attraction towards her character. I’m looking forward to it.”

Jiyeon will play the role of ‘Lian‘, a member of the popular girl group, Hush, who aspires to one day be the “Queen of the Cannes Film Festival”, but lacks the acting ability to do so. Jiyeon revealed, “I’m receiving a lot of pointers from Eunjung, who participated in the first season. I already have a warm blanket prepared to withstand the cold at Kirin High School.”

Lastly, Jung Jinwoon has plans to showcase his cute charms through his role of ‘Jin Yoo Jin‘, a bragging troublemaker who aspires to be a rockstar. He stated, “I felt an attraction to the role of Jin Yoo Jin as soon as I read the script. I like the character more because of the fact that he likes rock, just like me. I will try my best to bring out the character’s charm.”

---
In addition to these four stars, Park Jin Young, Choi Yeo Jin, and Kim Jung Tae have also joined the casting crew for Season 2.

Kim Jung Tae will take on the role of Kirin High School’s president, ‘Lee Kang Chul’. At this time, the sequel to the popular teenage drama has confirmed that T-ara‘s Jiyeon, SISTAR‘s Hyorin, Ailee, and many others have joined the program.
