Winsor McCay is one of the fathers of hand-drawn animation, drawing each frame by himself in the very beginning. Considering the time's resources, Little Nemo is a historic masterpiece.

This movie rings a lot of nostalgia bells with myself, along with many other users, and I'm extremely proud of CR for featuring it.

Movies like this are what made me appreciate animation in the first place.

Certainly no reason to question your sense of aesthetics. I guess the movie was just too complicated for you. Maybe if it was as poorly drawn as 'Naruto' and 'Bleach' are and contain nothing, but brainless fighting and flashing lights you would have loved it. Oh and I'm also guessing the fact that it's in English also effects your decision as well.

Khaltazar wrote:
No, just that it is childish. How can you claim Naruto and Bleach are drawn poorly? Clearly the difference is clear. Sure, perhaps if Naruto and Bleach were made way back when this was made it may have been a different story. I am just not one for older shows. For example: I would gladly watch Gundam if only they remade it to match modern time technology. I have no problem with English shows as long as their voices match the character in which they play. I have never watched this show nor will I ever. I couldn't tell you what the story is about or how involved it could or not be.

Everyone is entitled to their opinions... but how could u formed an opinion about a movie that you yourself admit you will never watch?

I never saw the movie as a kid. I had the game, though. It was on the Sega Genesis, I believe. I didn't even know there was a movie. I can't wait to see it, I loved the game!

Ah, I love this movie! In fact, a few days ago I was just thinking I should go to my parents' to watch it, since they have it on vhs and they're the only ones I know who still own a vcr. Now I get to watch it from the comfort of my own couch! Then I'll probably still go to my parents and watch it again with my family! Talk about nostalgia!
