I was watching a play-through on Youtube and decided I just had to get this game. I finished Chapter 1 and played the extra chapter (it was so cute), but then I got stuck in Chapter 2, with that ghost stalker boy  Stupid kid is going to give me a stroke ._.
The voice acting is top-notch, and the story is really good. Can't play this in an empty house at night, ahaha xD |

Shattered Memories is a joke, in terms of horror. The monsters (or whatever you want to call them) look like crash test dummies lol. Corpse Party is definitely creepy and the atmosphere is truly perfect. I like the game a lot.

I'm sure we're talking about the PSP version right? Yeah I didn't think that port would be that great. But yeah, corpse party is definitely a refreshing release to a genre that's lacking in the PSP. I hope the 2nd one comes here.

There's an OVA for it, but ya one of the few games that creeped the hell out of me. I only got to chapter 3 or 4, but so far chapter 1 was my "WTF" chapter

I first heard of Corpse Party when ChaoticMonki (aka "Cry") starting a playthrough on the game. I got really interested in the game so much so that I got a PSP so I can play it myself.

Great game. Despite not being 3d, it scared the crap outta me thanks to the high quality creepy sound. I haven't seen all endings, but I might play it again for Halloween's sake.
And, be sure to play it with headphones.
edit: Corpse Party sequel coming to the West. Also, Corpse Party sale on PSN.

You'll need a PSP or a Vita. I don't think PSN does refunds.
