Hello all, here is my complaint.

If you browse to a video on the website and click to set it to 720p quality without first logging in, you are understandably redirected to the signup/login page. When you sign in it auto-redirects me to the membership comparison page.

Why not redirect me to the video I was attempting to watch? I have a paid membership. The website should now be aware that I have the proper credentials to watch the video in 720p. I don't need to be reminded every time I log in that there are other memberships I'm not signed up for.

Many websites have a "nice" auto redirect feature that will take you to the requested content with the previously unavailable functionality enabled (e.g. 720p). I do not think crunchyroll's current redirection scheme is necessary. I do not see a redirection to the membership page as a good method for enticing current users to upgrade. If I upgrade, it won't be because the website kept shoving options in my face each time I log in.

I request that crunchyroll.com implement an auto redirect back to the video in 720p, or whatever, so I don't have navigate back to the video page or re-toggle the 720p.

I know its not a requisite feature, but it is an issue of user friendliness. I'm not concerned with whether or not a method exists for users to get around this or have less trouble, but for me it is a consistent issue that produces a little bit of mental stress each time I come to the website. Don't let anyone tell you that the little things matter.

If a person logs in without a paid membership, than go ahead and advertise, but I am already paying, and would prefer user friendliness over what I see as unnecessary advertising.

Here's hoping for change.

Mine when I signed in brought me back to the content I had on to which without signing in it was giving me the "sign in to see the content preview".
