I'm watching crunchy on my iPad and am having am having a few issues. I'll be watching a video and it will suddenly start over from the beginning. The progress bar doesn't go back the the beginning it shows correctly but I'll suddenly start seeing the beginning footage. I've never had this issue with the website. Sometimes the movie seems to have ended and so it's no loss but not always. I'm going to have to go to the website to finish watching this episode of hunter x I had been hoping to watch in bed.

I also have an iPad and when i do watch anime on Crunchyroll i dont have any issues. Assuming your problems are on the Crunchyroll app from the app store it may have something to do with an error with the download. If this is the case you can try removing and re-installing the app and see if that makes a difference. Another way you could try and fix the problem is simply turning turning your iPad off and back on again. This simple but sometimes effective method has (for some unknown reason <.<) managed to fix some of my faulty apps. Also check to make sure you have the latest version of Crunchyroll and check the IOS requirement for the app itself. You may be running on a lower version and you simply need to update. However if you are watching anime on Crunchyroll through Safari etc. then i dont know how to help you there as i have only watched anime on Crunchyroll through the app itself.

I have experience the same issue but it seems to happen when I pause and go in another app to look at something else and then come back to continue to watch the anime, at some point it will start over.

This is a known issue with people on iOS 5 and we're looking into it.

The current workaround is to do the following:
- Go to the home screen of your device
- Double tap the Home button to bring up the Multitasking bar
- Press and hold anywhere on the multitasking bar until the icons on it start to wiggle.
- While they are wiggling, each icon has a Minus sign symbol above it.
- Press the Minus symbol above the Crunchyroll app to close it down.
- Reopen the Crunchyroll app and replay the video

Any news on when the update will go live?
