Possessive people are insecure. And insecurity arises for a reason. For example if you're dating a known serial cheater, your possessiveness might overwhelm you as you get paranoid over everything. It's dumb to be in a serious relationship with someone you don't trust anyway so I say have a serious talk with them or dump their ass if you find yourself getting possessive feelings over a long period of time.

I don't know what I'm talking about.

What about possessive GIRLFRIENDS?

Waking up with 30 text messages. 10 voice mails, and 90 missed calls.
Always wanted to chill at your crib
Pratically LIVING at your place.
CONSTANTLY checking your messages and calls for other chicks.
Demanding you share your facebook log in and pass.
Never ending questions on what you was doing when you couldn't pick up the phone.
Suspicious of every move you do, even when you've proven to be 110% loyal.
More insecure than a German WW2 Armor engineer.
Making you put HER before your own friends and family.

She has no business whatsoever to know any of your log-in passwords. She is your girlfriend not your parent.

Suggest she get a puppy because taking care of puppies is a pretty high maintenance job.

Never let a boyfriend or girlfriend corner you into choosing one or the other. You need both family and friends in your life. Never let a boyfriend and girlfriend get in between you and your family, or education. I'd say what comes around goes around. If he starts going through your phone and messages, then you start picking up his stupid habits. It's sad I was stuck in a relationship like that for so long. Before I got into 3 horrible relationships I was a really down to earth trusting girl. Now, I'm a stronger, trusting, down to earth girl.

I wouldn't do anything if I wouldn't want it in return.

hmmmmm... tuff topic... I think being possessive really sucks.... I personally say if she really loves me than the between be and her will be great...... I have a friend whos possessive over his g/f and that aint getting him nowhere.... I remember one time he even thought that I was sleeping with his g/f.
