The queue is having issues for me

Currently I have a bunch of series that I watch. At least 20. But I like to let them fill up before sitting down for a long stretch of episode's of a single series.

Yesterday when I went into my queue half of my shows were completely missing the episode I last watched.

Please make it so that the relevant information does not get lost. That being the last episode I watched.

I have noticed this happening in my queue as well.

This is particularly irritating because it is sometimes difficult to remember exact episode where you left off in a long running series.

Just because I haven't watched a series for a couple of weeks doesn't mean that I want to start over from the beginning!!

Please fix this, Crunchyroll!!!

You promised us that the queue feature was going to replace the "watchlist" feature seamlessly. This is NOT seamless.

--- I suspect that this was "built in" to the queue feature in order to bump the ad-views for free subscribers to make the numbers look better. I can see the logic in that, but fix it for PAID subscribers at least. It is very irritating, and reduces the value of our paid subscriptions since the "watchlist" feature didn't have this annoying glitch. Unfortunately, the "Watchlist" is no longer supported, so I can't use it instead.

It happened to me after a bleach marathon the queue is dependent upon your viewing history list http://www.crunchyroll.com/history it uses this to gets its info for what episode you watched last unfortunately it has a rather small limit if you watch alot of different shows. Watch to many episode from other shows and your last episode watched for a show will get deleted. CR should either greatly increase the show history like ten times the current if not get rid of it entirely for premium members or program the queue differently so it will always keep the data for what the last episode watched for each series is regardless of what is in the viewing history.

Currently the Queue used your Viewing History for the last watched episodes. However, the Viewing History currently only keeps track of the last 100 videos you watched. We retain all the data but it is not publicly viewable. This is due to technical limitations that we are working to sort out.

A good solution may be to up the limit just for Premium Members while retaining the limit for non-premium users. But I'll have to see if this can be done. Otherwise, the limits will likely be removed for all users once we are able to provide a better way of managing the data.

Thank you for looking into this and explaining things. If this could be bumped for Premium users, you guys could bill it as an additional feature to make the premium membership more attractive. In any case, I appreciate the response.

Wondering if there is any news on this? The queue is still operating in the same way as it did over three months ago.

I've noticed a few duplicate threads about this popping up on the forum.

So far, I have been keeping a spreadsheet for those shows I have put "on hold", but it is inconvenient when compared to the previous "Watchlist" feature that was replaced by the current queue.

I'll check with the dev and design teams to see if/when this is being expanded.

Edit: History is being expanded so that it is unlimited. We're unsure if this will correct issues with the Queue, but we're also planning a major overhaul on the Queue to make it better / more functional.
