MasterUizi, I agree with most of what you are saying, but you might want to try saying it a little less in a way that would piss-off the opposite viewpoint...
Bedlam, you could still go and do OCS (Officer Candidate School) if you wanted...Personally, I dropped ROTC in favor of going this route, but stupidly I did not drop it until after I had signed the papers in my Sophomore year, so until I either enter the military or pay off the debt, I kinda own the US government a nice sum on paper (nice enough to buy a decent car

)...
Anyways, I have always wanted to go into the military - ever since I was a kid its been what I've had my heart set on doing. Service to one's country (be it military or other) is, in my mind, one of the highest callings in life...Personally, I would like to go into Intelligence (Navy Intelligence would be really nice), and that is one among several reasons for my dropping of ROTC...
