Yes , it does . I`ve always wondered why someone would put his or her life on the line for his or her
country , to protect his or her fellow citizens . I admire their courage . For doing so much for a lot of
people they don`t even know . No , I`m not planning to join the military .

Here's what I think about the military trying to recruit you:

My former friend: "So how's it like in the Navy?"

Navy Recruiter: "Oh man, it's so fun man! You'll have a great time of your life!"

My former friend: " I see. I can't wait to get there and serve my country."

Navy Recruiter: "It's gonna be awesome man!"

My former friend finally joins in the Navy after graduation and for a couple of months...he was so much emo. He went through bootcamp for four weeks and he wasn't having fun. He was stationed at Florida afterwards. He was having hard time with the Navy military personnel who are higher rank than him. That's because he's a hard headed guy. He did a stupid thing with his fellow Navy comrades and he was involved with the situation. He attended court and he was so worried and so damn emo that it made me sick listening to his stupid problems. It's all his fault for whatever he did.


My former friend, discharged from the Navy. He went back to smoking weed and being lame with his friends. One of his friends is a drop out. Pretty much the friends he's hanging out are drug users and I'm assuming he's still hanging out with them, bad influence. I understand he has a hard life but man, wake up and face reality.


Joining the military today? Fuck no.
Getting drafted? Fine by me, bring it on.
Fighting for my country? No, thanks I'm doing it for myself.

No way. I heard that women were discriminated in the military. I'm a female and there is no way I'm joining the army.

I've been wondering about joining the norwegian air force but then you know... Maybe not. I guess it'd be cool a couple of weeks, but then I'd be kind of bored and exhausted and wanting to go home so I'm not sure yet, but I don't think so... Pluss I wouldn't want to go to afghanistan or anything, since I'm actually against killing. I mean shooting at things are fine, but not humans.

Alright everyone, I joined the Marines. I'm currently DEP (Delayed Entrance Program), that way I finish high school and have a guaranteed first pick of what job I want. Oh, and I choose recon sniper. I'm given classes on leadership every second saturday of the month, where I go and get my ass chewed out and PT'd by Marines who just graduated from boot camp. i.e If you lasted 13 weeks through rigorous intensive training you'd be badass too. (army only has 6 weeks of training and leave men behind, Marines teach you to SURVIVE damn it and to never leave your brother behind!) Semper Fi.
