They send u games, hats, and all that stuff just for asking for info. And then once your in they lock you in for years with a stupid contract. If the army truly cared about the soldiers. They would allow you to leave whenever you want

U don't need US citizenship to join the US army cuz we r Canadian. A lot of Canadian join the US army. I read this from the Toronto star. And it is easy to get US citizenship once u in the army. That being said I would join the army if Canada is being attack!(something like WW1 or WW2)

On another note, if you have had surgery on your eyes, can you still be a fighter pilot (assuming your eyes are back to peak conditions)? last i heard, no. the problem is the eyes are still actually being cut. i was in a Q/A session with the (then) chief of staff of the air force (Gen Jumper) and he said that was the main problem. however, they would be open to change the policy if a new procedure allows vision correction without actually cutting the eye.

Aniwae, i'm currently in the service of Singapore Armed Forces, and there tends to be a trend for those yet to enlist personnel... they start to plan for their vocation.. eg: i want to be commando / clerk / dvr etc.. Kindly close that idea box as you don't really have a choice of where you want to go.

Or perhaps you mean... for me to become a military scientist instead? those that are not fighting fit personnel, are usually labelled as Service support or Admin support. as for the above mentioned, Strat/ planner/ M.Scientist.. dun think they will just offer the job to us simply like that... think they may have to check out your backgrounds etc...
